Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats, Grown, Milled and Packaged in Scotland, 750 Gram Bag (Pack of 1)

I've had people argue with me and say there is no difference between American Oats and Scottish Porridge. They are absolutely wrong! This Scottish Porridge is delightful, tasty, smooth, and the difference in taste, consistency and quality are noticeable to me. American Oats to me are bland with a hint of chemicals and taste mass produced. This brand of porridge to me is rich in oaty flavor and super easy to prepare. I use milk and water mixed, and add honey on top. Maybe it's because the Scots don't use as many chemicals and pesticides - I don't know for sure. But I do know this porridge is delicious!

Heavy clear plastic appropriately sized outer bag protects my weaker porridge (green label) bag well. I cook it for 3 minutes in my microwave, let it sit for 2 more and it’s ready to eat.

I was trying to buy Scot:s Porridge Oats at a reasonable price, but impossible!I tried these and they're super.

This is my favorite oatmeal. It's creamy, tasted great plain or with toppings mixed or cooked in, and is always top quality.

No complains. I used as a side with the Haggis for a Church service.

The oats are easy to cook and turned out great. And, they taste delicious. The flavor took me right back to Scotland!
