National Geographic Ireland Wall Map - Classic (30 x 36 in) (National Geographic Reference Map)

This map is attractive and is the perfect size for us to mark/document our month-long trip to Ireland. It has almost all the towns and many sites that we visited while there. However, not having any roads labeled and many minor roads missing has made it difficult to map our journey. I have to do some creative cross referencing to recreate our journey. Perhaps there is little demand for wall maps with the fine detail of fold-up road maps, which unfortunately use both sides and cannot be displayed. None the less, after searching online for quite a long time, I think this is the best wall map available. In addition this has the counties outlined which has been invaluable for me.

Awkward size if you're looking to frame (I have a very pinterest-y Maps room in my house, and this one had to be cut down a bit to fit in frame) but the size is listed outright, so you just have to plan accordingly. I framed it in a standard, cheap frame from either Michaels or Ikea (can't remember).The color is a gorgeous soft/pale green and blue scape. Great detail. Fun to spend some time staring at. Great for an adult geography lesson or to recall some fond old memories. :)

Big and gorgeous map and I love it.

Shipment was very slow and took longer than expected. The paper is not heavy weight and tears very easily, but the map itself is detailed enough for my use needs in planning group travel.

Planning a trip to Ireland and love mapping everything out on this map. Wish it came in a larger size but it has all the details that we need.

I went to Ireland last year and bought this to trace my route and frame on the wall. Exactly the size I wanted. Shipped quickly and was in perfect shape. I love it!

I have this hanging on my door, and am putting small post it's on areas of future interest to me. I like the size and details.
