I'm not sure what grade of knee sprain/ MCL injury I had - but when it first happened, I was on crutches and couldn't put any weight on my leg at all. I read a ton of reviews on Amazon and ordered this brace literally the day after the injury happened because of so many positive reviews for both this product and this vendor - thinking it would be something I would need to use for quite awhile into the future and hoping it would work out well.It has been almost three weeks and I am incredibly thrilled with how well this brace works - without it I would still be so limited in mobility because the knee still feels unstable sometimes, like it could give way or twist and get reinsured if I planted my foot wrong.When I was still using crutches, the brace supported the knee and kept it from twisting / flexing sideways in the wrong direction - yet the hinges at the knee joint let me bend it as much as the swelling would permit - so I could get it moving back and forth gently as soon as possible. Now no more crutches - and with the brace on I can walk as far as I want to and feel completely safe and stable and protected - even on the beach with uneven surfaces or deeper sand. The hinges also make it possible to walk with a normal gait and toe-off instead of walking stiff-legged - makes so much difference in recovering balance and walking more smoothly and quickly.The brace is soft and extremely comfortable to wear, not scratchy or abrasive even when I wear it with shorts - the hinges on the medial and lateral sides of the knee don't poke or chafe at all either. I've worn it over skinny jeans and that works well too. It is fast and easy to take on and off over your foot - just one padded velcro flap at the top and then a velcro strap to tighten and secure it at the bottom and the top. It is very well-constructed and it ships inside a nice bright red bag which is a really cool add-on to an already excellent product. I mean the whole setup is really just perfect in my eyes and I can’t think of a thing I would change.And the customer relations team from the vendor sent email soon after purchasing to make sure that the order had arrived and to follow up - to see if I had questions and was satisfied/happy with the product. I absolutely believe they would stand behind their product if there were any problems with it, no matter how small.To the owner and to those who work at this company - you should know that you have made THE difference in at least one person's life - because for me to be able to go outside to beach and walk in the sand this soon after this type of injury - even to walk outside on flat ground / sidewalk - wouldn't have been remotely possible without this type of brace. The stability and security it gives is beyond anything I ever hoped. It is so important to have it that I ordered another one almost immediately - one to keep dry and one for the ocean / training.I can't run yet - or ride skateboard yet - but once I can, I can see using this brace for awhile into the future for both of these activities to keep extra safe until the knee feels totally stable again.My highest recommendation for this product and this vendor/company - seriously I'm so happy I chose this one.

So far so good. Works close if not better than my bulky unloader brace. The hinged side bars and stamps work well to reduce torsion, stabilize and reduce load on my knee. I have been able to wear this brace for long shifts on my feet where as my unloader brace causes other issues that make me need to remove it after 3-4 hours

I like how much this helps me walk with a torn meniscus, but it constantly falls down. Really doesn't matter how tight I make it, it moves easily and eventually just falls down around my ankle. So I have to stay fairly sedentary to keep it on which kind of defeats the purpose. Looking at all the other designs out there, I don't see that they'd be much different I'm going to try a compression sleeve and see if that a) stays up and b) manages my pain sufficiently.

Having had two full knee reconstruction and I have now no ACL, so this brace offers me the support I need when jogging or any other sporting activity. The ability to remove the hinges also makes this brace a lot lighter and offers more range of movement. Its not bulky and comfortable and easy to wear. Its adjustable and very easy to take on and off.

Daughter uses almost daily for practice and competition play for basketball. Purchased on 10/21 so basically 1 month later the brace is basically trashed. Hoping manufacturer will stand behind this product and replace it. Update on review: We received a replacement very quickly which is great customer service. Unfortunately as of 1/10/20 the product has failed again. We will be seeking a refund on this item

I have been wearing this for a few weeks. At first I could feel my leg muscles taking the pressure off of my knee. Now I occasionally feel the same effect. I believe it is still doing it but without my feeling it. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this kind of help.

My husband was in a great deal of constant pain after an injury at work resulting in a meniscus tear. After researching recommended types of braces I ordered this brace, and my husband experienced an immediate decrease in his pain and discomfort as soon as he put it on. This brace fits comfortably and allows him to be able to walk.

Have tendon injury. Work on my feet, with some ladder work, all day.This brace gets me through the day. Stabilizes my knee but allows me enough mobility to function fairly normally. Don't have so much pain at the end of the day. My only problem is, even though I couldn't wear a smaller size; it slides down if I don't pull a knee sleeve over it. Gives me a little extra support that way so not really an issue.
