Beware! I bought these in size 14 jig style hooks for my new found euro nymph project. Over the last few months I have broken off between 10 and 20 fish on these hooks. At first I thought it was my tippet so I bought new tippet but after buying some quality Tiemco 14 jig hooks and testing them out at home have I come to realize it’s the hooks! The eye of these must have sharp edges as one would expect from a poorly made product with a price too good to be true. If you just want to practice tying, these will work but if you want actually catch fish, don’t buy!

I am so impressed with the quality of the hooks and the sellers response to getting me these hooks so fast. I cannot tell you how many sets I have bought but I have several times and very satisfied. I have bought every style offered and I am satisfied that I give a strong 5 stars. Also the container is so cool for the flies I tie. I will buy again and thank you for the quick delivery.

Well, let's see....where to start. "Best barbless...." only if you have never seen real tying hooks before. These are extremely sad examples of fly tying hooks. Overly heavy, non-standard wire, sharp edge to the eye and the poor quality coating redefines the term "black nickel". These hooks have an offset bend that makes it impossible to tie a correct scud, shrimp or pupa pattern. The hook might be "best barbless" for carp fishing with dough balls but definitely not for fly tying. Spend your money on hooks from known manufacturers since it is the most important part of a fly. When things seem to be too good to be true, they generally are.

Just got these hooks today and I'm already tying on them....some folks have left negative feedback on these hooks ....I have been tying for over 50 years and these are Excellent..... very strong, very sharp....they must have a good amount of carbon in them since they so strong.... they won't bend under light pressure like other hooks I have used...I won't hesitate a moment ordering more....compared to other hooks on the market these are a bargain...IF I find anything negative about them after I fish some with them I will add to my review....but as for right now you won't go wrong with these...

I am partial to tying on only the best of the best. Umpqua, Daichi, Partidge etc are standard hooks for me. These are beautiful hooks. Forged with a Black nickel finish, you cannot possibly get a better buy. 100 hooks for $10 at this quality I am very impressed. Loved that the box they come in is a fly box with foam insert. Def will be purchasing from now on!

These hooks are incredibly great value for the money. Very sharp and seem very high-quality. I’ve used them all even the high price stuff that I used to buy but I will definitely be ordering these from now on. 100 hooks for about the price of 10 of the regular high priced ones and I can’t tell a difference in the quality. Also as an added bonus you get a nice little micro slip fly box with them. That was a very thoughtful touch
