BEST TEACHER APPRECIATION GIFT!
Great and easy-to-read stories. This was a wonderful gift for my daughter's teachers along with a wine bottle. They were very pleased. I highly recommend it.

loved it and graduated with her masters
My Fiancée was starting to question herself if she wanted to be a teacher or not. Being a man who reads a lot of books to find wisdom and insight during tough times I thought I would buy her this to motivate her again so she can finish up her degree and live her dream. She made time to read this book, loved it and graduated with her masters. Now she teaches a class room and the kids are always writing about her kind and great of a teacher she is.

The person I gifted this to highly recommends it.
I bought this for my friend who just graduated and starts teaching 5th grade this August. She has been sending pictures of her reading it by the pool and says it's a great summer read. She loves it! I'm starting my 1 year unpaid teacher residency this year and might get it for myself haha

Superb Book
Thoroughly enjoyed the book and had to share it with a teacher. Opens ones eyes to the challenges some teachers have. Every teacher should read it and be encouraged. Very educational whether you are a teacher or not. Recommend.

Not as inspiring as I had hoped
I have read a lot of books relating to teaching recently, and when it comes to motivational anecdotes, the fact is that once you've read one book, you probably don't need to read another. I had just finished "Educating Esme" when I started this, and after a few stories, I found the book rather boring and a bit repetitive. Also, most of the anecdotes do not relate to the educational system I work in at all, which didn't help me enjoy it any more. If you have not yet overdosed on teacher cuteness, you might find this a nice, quick read.

Received damaged
This is a Christmas present and it arrived damaged. Gonna have to do my best to fix the damaged pages before wrapping. I am disappointed. Not sure when the damage happened but this is a negative experience for me.
