ShappellJSX Jet Sled, Extra-Large

Purchased for ice fishing and other activities. I install a set of runners to the bottom to keep from wearing a hole in the bottom while crossing the roads and in parking lots. This is a great size easy to maneuver with behind a machine sled or atv and you could still pull behind you without the machine. I can fit my insulated 4 man portable a few buckets of tip ups, jigs and gear, chairs etc it holds a good amount of gear more then you want to have to pull by hand for any distance. I fabricated a hitch up that i can pull a 2 pins and hook a rope with carbines to the sled to hand drag as well. Its a good 1/4 to 3/8 thick durable plastic with a good lip around the top to mount tie downs to or hook bungees or straps on i drilled some 3/8 in holes in the lip for the hooks to grab so they don't slide . I think its the perfect size a great value and would purchase again.

Using it to drag cut 12"-17" diameter logs during the Winter and Spring from the woodpile 120 feet away to the house for heating purposes. I can load up to 10 logs at a time through snow, frozen ground and wet grass with ease. Would buy again!

These are really nice sleds. I use it ice fishing and it holds all my gear and works great. It's just I don't think I would ever pay full price for these. Right around $100 is about how I would price them.

Strong,light,very deep. I use it to move brush and firewood across the property. I love my gorilla cart, but when I’m doing heavy hauling and want to move as much as I can, I grab the Jet Sled every time. It does take up a lot of room for storage but that’s how it goes. Good product 🛷

Your delivery company will fear your choice since this sled is the size of most humans. My delivery company called crying about the sheer size of the sled. Good times!

I purchased for ice fishing. Have kids and grandkids that go with me. So lots of gear go in the ice. It stays on top of the snow. Very easy to pull.Have also used it for elk hunting. It has pulled out 5 elk so far. The whole body fits in the sled. Even a large elk, 2 people can pull it. (With effort)I pull it behind my 4 wheeler. Much easier.Will probably get another one. For backup.
