I bought these one evening when I was craving something sweet. When I had my first taste I was a little disappointed because I didn’t think that they tasted much like maple syrup. I didn’t give up on them however because I had a 2.2 pound bag that I didn’t want to waste, nor did I want to return them. It’s not that they tasted “bad,” it’s that the flavor wasn’t as strong of a maple flavor as I anticipated. Well, as you can tell by my 5 star rating, I grew to like the taste. To summarize, these are a delicious individually wrapped sweet hard candy the shape of a maple leaf and the color of clear brown pancake syrup. They have nice smooth rounded edges and the overall texture is smooth as well. These little candies are just the perfect size to fit comfortably in your mouth. The most important part ie. the flavor, I find unique. If you are expecting a strong maple syrup flavor you should know that my opinion is that they only have a mild maple flavor. Otherwise they have a flavor of their own. But despite lthe candies being only of a mild maple flavor, they are quite delicious and I recommend them. That is, if you’re looking for a hard candy that has a unique flavor. One warning however, they can become addicting, but I’m not complaining. Enjoy!

Awesome! I’ve never had these candies before, but kept hearing one of the characters on “Call The Midwife” ask her colleagues if they wanted a Barley Sugar. This particular one has a touch of honey. I love the smooth texture and pressed flower design. Great quality! A+

These maple candies are all natural, minimally processed, and delicious. At only 45 calories for 2 pieces, it's a sweet and low calorie treat. I also find that when I have a cold, they are really soothing to my throat. Apparently, maple candy is an old Canadian remedy for sore throats, and it helps me. I highly recommend purchasing these maple candies if you have a sweet tooth like me.

These are my new favorite candy. Some may think they are too boring. I think they are just right. Delicious, pure sweet honey taste. nom nom nom - I am going to order another bag right now.

Delicious but not a strong maple syrup flavor

I grew up on real maple syrup and since moving from home I have to purchase it which is quite expensive. These candies are so good. The amount that you get for the price is awesome. My daughter kept asking me for more so I finally cut her off and told her to seek help. It really wasn't because I was being selfish. If you love maple syrup like I do try them out. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Great taste candy. Found a small package in Canada and loved them so much I had to order from Amazon. This is a big package that will last you for months.

These are incredible. If you need a mid-day pick me up, variety in your staff candy bowl, or have anxiety and need hard candy/ gum throughout the day... these are the candy for you. The simplicity of the flavor and the length of time until its gone (if your more patient than me) makes the candy unique. It taste clean and natural compared to other hard candies with dyes and chemical after tastes. My only concern is some days they are so delicious I don't realize how many I've eaten until I look at my pile of wrappers. However, I LOVE that they are individually wrapped. It makes the choice to eat one intentional, allows them to be in a public space without fear of germs, and stops them from getting sticky. Great candy choice!
