Product is as advertised.
The grill is made of good quality stainless and carbon steel that’s powder coated. Works well. However I purchased the bundle with the cooking pellets. In my experience the cooking pellets smelled bad (rancid) and did not produce a good flavor profile. Recommend to buy your own fresh pellets from another retailer.

Grilla grills are the way to go!
I’ve been using charcoal, propane and electric smokers and grills for the last 20 years: Weber, Masterbuilt, Smoke Hollow, Charbroil, Camp Chef, etc. I have been thinking about getting a pellet grill for some time now as I really was drawn to the “set it and forget it” bandwagon. I looked at Traeger, Z-grill, Rec-Tec and Grilla. After several months and countless hours reading reviews, I opted for the Silverback Alpha. The Amazon deal was great - grill, cover, 80lbs of pellets and additional rack (I also purchased the accessory kit separately). It was delivered on a pallet in perfect condition probably because it was packed to be shipped. They spared no expense in packing this thing. Assembly was a breeze. I checked out their YouTube videos and followed them and had it assembled in about 30 minutes. (Note, I did get help placing the main unit on the base as it is a bit awkward and heavy for one person). YouTube again for the start-up and seasoning process. My first cook was for inch thick New York’s for a reverse sear. Set my Alpha to 225 on mode 2 as I wanted a bit more smoke. Got them up to about 115 internal (about 25-30 minutes) and removed then seared on a very hot griddle for about a minute on each side then to a plate to sit for 5 minutes. Holy cow, perfect medium rare...I’m a believer!! Everything that I read about the grill - assembly, ease of use, quality, customer service - all true! Looking forward to Thanksgiving and cooking up a couple of turkeys for the family. I am looking forward to many years of pizza, brisket, pork butts, beer can chicken, the works! Do what I did - check out reviews of all of them, get on YouTube and view all the comparisons. Grilla Grills stand out! You won’t regret it! Happy smoking!

Grilla Grills are the way to go!
As an amateur smoker, my family and I are in love with my Grilla Grills Silverback Alpha! We'd used a little smoker sold at a local hardware store and it just never worked the way it should. So I looked long and hard at all the smokers on the market, talked with owners of several different brands and read many positive and negative testimonials. The results of my search lead me to Grilla Grills and their line of smokers. The Silverback Alpha is easy to put together and even easier to use and maintain. So far I've cooked brisket, chicken thighs and wings, ribs and salmon on my Alpha and each have turned out to be the best we've ever eaten! And clean up has been a breeze, I appreciate all the videos that are out there that helped in the assembly and maintenance, let alone the recipes.I've also purchased the additional interior accessories package, as well as the outside shelf and the have performed as advertised. I hope that Amazon and Grilla Grills continue their partnership in the future.

Nice Package
You can also buy this grill directly from Grilla Grills, but I get some extra kickbacks from using my Amazon card. And the extras on this package were appealing - an extra upper grill for beef jerky and a cover along with 4 bags of pellets gets you going in the right direction.I've used the grill about 5 or 6 times now. I had some trouble on the first use with the fan not turning so the pellets wouldn't light without the oxygen feed. I got some help from their customer service folks, late at night, on a Facebook group, so I got it going in time to make a batch of jerky. The company has excellent customer service and the grill is pretty heavy duty, so I hope it will last far longer than the 4 year warranty. All the pieces and parts are replaceable and they have videos about how to take it apart, so I suspect that I will get many years of useful service from this pellet grill.

Well worth the wait
I heard about this Grill over 6 months ago. I've been studying and reading up on it the whole time. I saw the deal that Amazon was running for it so I decided it was time to pull the trigger. It was well worth the wait.It assembled extremely easy. The only thing that I needed help with was lifting the main body onto the base. With one person it took about 30 minutes. I followed the directions for the first burn and was extremely pleased to see that it got up to Max temperature on a chilly rainy Night. The first thing that we cooked on it was a pizza from a take and bake store. It came out just like the ones that we buy add a wood oven place. I'm excited to use this more and more as the summer comes near.If you're thinking about a wood pellet grill take a serious look at the Grilla Silverback Alpha!

Excellent construction. Keeps a steady temperature. Fantastic smoker.
The smoker was super-easy to assemble. We had it set up and cooking in about 30 minutes. It's well-designed and constructed. In our first month with it, we have smoked ham, salmon, baby back ribs and prime rib; all of the meals were fabulous.I also got the accessory racks, which nearly double the amount of food I can smoke. I can fit six full slabs of ribs on it at one time.I was a little concerned that the Silverbac has no wifi feature, something that is commonly available on other brands.WiFi allows for monitoring and temperature control from within your house. Now that I've used the smoker for a while, I don't see the need for wifi capabilities. This is strictly my opinion, as others may really like wifi, but this particular smoker is excellent at maintaining a steady temperature, plus I use a Bluetooth ThermoPro food probe to monitor the temperature of the food, so I really don't need WiFi.
