Have used this product since the early nineties. My skin looks great. This productHelped my skin retain it’s elasticity.

For years I have suffered with severe emotional dysregulation and PMS. When I entered peri-menopause in my mid-40's, it got worse. I've been plied with Paxil (gained weight, cried all the time, acne), Prozac (caused psychotic reaction), birth control pills (same as Paxil), Xanax (fell asleep at work) and Propanolol (I felt like a zombie walking through mud). I've tried St. John's Wort with zero results, Sam-E with zero results; wild yam extract, even a different brand of primrose oil yielded no relief; you name it, I've tried it. I had grown so despondent that it felt like there was no hope for me.I've always preferred to take natural remedies, but I want them to work. I already take Barleans Fish Oil and powdered greens, and added coconut oil recently. I eat (mostly) healthy foods and drinks. So I decided to try this primrose oil. I started taking it about 2 weeks ago and was willing to wait about a month for results if there were to be any. BANG!!! I noticed a difference within days. While I still felt irritable during PMS, it was much more manageable than before and I did not break down weeping over the slightest things. I was able to remain calm even during some stressful events (I drive a lot in my work, so you can imagine the stress!) and even when I had not had enough sleep I was still able to function well. This is truly a miracle to me. While I won't say I am cured, I will say that these esults are positive enough that I feel hopeful for the first time in a very long time.Another very nice effect is the difference it has made in my skin: my facial skin would get very tight and dry during PMS yet would still break out. I got the breakouts under control using manuka oil but still had dry skin - AND dry mouth. Since taking this primrose oil, I have not had the dry skin or dry mouth and in fact my skin's texture has improved, feels more elastic and looks dewy. I also use rosehip oil and argan oil on my face and have had excellent results.It did not help with cramps but perhaps as I continue to take the oil I will reap the benefits in that arena at a later date. With so many positive results, I must give Barleans Evening Primrose Oil the very highest rating; in fact, every product of theirs that I have used has been top-notch. I am a customer for life, especially of the primrose oil. Try it. It is everything it claim to be!

Got off the pill and needed something to help balance my hormones as well as get my acne under control. I take these every day and really don't know that they make much a difference until I went on vacation and forgot them at home. Totally noticed the difference with the acne.Update:REVIEW IS FOR NutraScience. I will never buy from this "DISTRIBUTOR" again as the product sold is not backed up. I order the primerose oil (and ordered one for spare) and half way through the bottle, there's a funny "old oil" smell to it. However, you could try placing the bottle in the fridge or freezer and shaking between uses. I have been using this long enough now to review the impact for me on my body. I am in my 50's dealing with changes. Two capsules were too much and have found one capsule to do the job. No hot flashes and other menopausal issues I had been dealing with since using this product. Things were pretty tough for a while and I didn't want just any natural product off a box chain store shelf. It matters how oils are handled or any herbal product. I didn't want something over processed to where you loose the potency of the product. I did not want to use HRT's the doctors are so quick to place menopausal women on as they bring up the need for more issues and if I had to be on them I was told to take baby aspirin to help prevent clots. Seriously! At my age, natural is always better anyway, you can help your body function. This product has been a very helpful product. Hot flashes were non stop and serious around the clock with tenderness issues . I was on lowest dose of an HRT till it messed with my hormone balance and it made me feel yucky. I don't eat a lot of "junk" and do eat a lot of fruits and veggies and minimal meat proteins. I will stay on this product for however long my body needs it. This has been a huge help for me.

I bought this product at my sister's recommendation. I was experiencing horrible anxiety issues that seem to be not only from life circumstances, but the beginnings of menopause. I tried this and it has helped tremendously. Will buy it again for sure
