Fits perfectly, easy to install.

I needed a safer eyecup to protect my new, expensive glasses. I bought two, one each for my Nikon D7100s. They fit well and seem to be safer, softer and able to block out more light than the original eyecups.

I lost my eyepiece from my Nikon Z6 and looked at several replacement possibilities. I finally settled on this one. I tried it out at a night high school football game and it worked perfectly. Very happy with my purchase.

The eyecup fit perfectly and after using it for a few months, it stays on and I haven't had it come off or become loose.

Easy to put on, stays in place well enough, does a great job blocking light to view the EVF and is comfy around the eye.BUT seems to be unexpectedly fragile. On only the 2nd or 3rd time out in the field, I put the camera (with this attached) in the bag, and when I took it out again, the flexible plastic/silicone cup had ripped and was dangling from the plastic piece that connects to the camera. Does not seem like it would be really repairable . A little superglue might help but it'd be even more fragile.As far as I can tell, however the flexible outer cup is attached to the plastic connector is very weak and could be prone to tearing.

This product has soft rubber that fits comfortably to my face, so it does not let light in. I find this important on the Nikon Z8 as I use prioritize viewfinder and "show effects of settings" so I can see exactly the image I am going to get. The unit fitted on well and you could hear a solid click when you turned the eye piece in place. The rubber is thick enough so it should last OK and appears fastened OK to the metal housing, but time will tell. Happy so far.

Pentax brand doesnt have its own deep eyepiece like this. And fits well for my Pentax k1! I bought it for Nikon initially. And for sure it is fine for Nikon. It is overpriced unfortunately. I saw similar item on Aliexpress.com for Nikon Z and it costs 1-2$ only, not 20$!! The same material. I got one from Aliexpress and it has the same quality, but doesnt fit for Pentax and Nikon d300/610. However, I cut the bottom of the eyepiece and now it works as well! So as an option, go to Ali, pay couple of $, fix it and enjoy.
