If you have a press and thickness gauge this is a great axle that comes with almost everything except the wheel studs. Don't be fooled that the studs are in the picture of both the Amazon listing and the Yukon website it does not come with them. Frustrating when you are getting everything ready to assemble and the vehicle is apart and you find no wheel studs but everything else is their including quality Timken bearing.

Good quality with timken bearings no leaks seal is great if you have access to a press I would definitely recommend this product

Perfect replacement on my 2006 rubicon. Seems like great quality and included a timken bearing and seal, along with 2 separate retainer plates...which in my case neither were right. But I'm assuming this is sold more as a general dana 44 jeep axle and not specifically a rubicon with disc brakes. No big deal, used my old retainer plate with the install and everything fit like a dream, and no more leak from a seal groove cut in the old factory axle. Not a big fan of the dual bolt patterns, but the price was right so I'll get past that minor annoyance. Also, mine did NOT come assembled. The bearing and seal were just sitting in the box. I do own a shop press so it was no big deal, but it may be of some concern to someone who has to take it somewhere to be pressed together.

When my Jeep decided it didn't want to pull anymore, I knew it was time to upgrade to a one piece axle. Having never messed with axles before, I was a little leery of doing this work myself, but what can I say? I'm cheap, but have a great set of tools and have always been pretty handy. You Tube is a great source of information, so my son and I started watching all the videos that we could find while we waited for these to arrive. When the morning came to install these... we torn into that Jeep feeling more confident that we ever imagined.Long story short... we installed these, as well as replacing the rear brakes and wheel cylinders, in about three hours taking our time. You'll need access to a bearing press to install the bearings, and Harbor Freight has one for less than $200 that's perfect for this. Otherwise, we were quoted about $75 per axle to have a shop press them in.I feel better about these one-piece axles over the two-piece ones. You can see the photo above what the stripped two-piece looked like. Not pretty.I rated these 5 stars for both the quality I feel these axles to be, and the price I paid. (Included all the bearings and seals!). Amazon is excellent as well (Prime member), and the shipping time is awesome. How do they do it?

the axle was a straight forward swap for a 1969 pontiac firebird with bop rear, the bearing pressed on with no problems all machined surfaces were finished well a spacer has to be used but that was no problem. as to which spacer you use is obviously determined by which bearing you use and for what car application, the length was fine, so I would say a good replacement for stock axles

My first experience with Yukon Axle and Gear, and I am extremely disappointed. I ordered 2 of these axles. On the SAME day. Arrived over a week apart. Not sure whose fault, could be UPS.Once received, both boxes had the same part number. Both sealed with heavy duty staples. Upon installation by my mechanic at his shop, we discovered ONE axle was a 31 spline, as labeled. The other one was a 28 spline and obviously wouldn't work.I ordered a replacement on 9-28, to arrive on 10-1. Tying up one of his garage bays for 3 extra days.On 10-2, I get an email that shipping might be delayed. Might be? Was supposed to be here yesterday. Not sure if it is the shipper or the carrier at fault this time.Either way I had to go with another company. And because these axle do not come with wheel studs or bearings, I am out all that extra money.

I purchased this axle shaft to replace a shaft with an unfortunately worn out ABS sensor tone wheel. While the installation overall went fairly smoothly, there was one huge problem that caused me to leave my Jeep in pieces overnight to solve. This was advertised as a complete assembly, "including wheel studs". While, yes, the shaft did arrive complete, it arrived sans any wheel studs. They were not in the box or pressed into the shaft. Since I had neglected to search the box before the install, and as I was doing this repair on a Sunday evening, I was then forced to leave my Jeep in pieces overnight until I could go to a series of stores in the morning to buy new studs and a press-in tool. Luckily I have a second vehicle, or I would've been in trouble, since with the bad sensor the Jeep was undrivable. But, once the proper parts were obtained and mounted, the rest of the assembly went smoothly and everything has worked well over 1000 miles so far.

Couldn't get wheel hub off old axle and damaged the threads hammering on it. Had to get new axle in a hurry so ordered these with 2 day shipping and they worked great! Install was easy, used a bearing press to push in u-joints and axles slid right in and are working great so far. Also love that they are chroemoly which are stronger than the original axle shafts. Highly recommend these!

Had no problems with installation. It fits perfectly and is supposed to be tougher than the OEM. I will update this review if the axle disappoints in any way.One thing I will say is that if you're in a hurry don't order from Amazon. There was 5 in stock when I ordered and it still took Amazon over a week just to ship it. So in conclusion: The product is good. Amazon shipping very bad.

J'ai acheter l'essieux comme pieces de rechange. Une fois installé il a cassé après 100'. Bien que les produit Yukon sois de bonne qualité je crois que celui-ci avait un défaut. Impossible a changer sous la garantie avec Yukon ni Amazone
