Great basic swiveling office stool
While this stool isn't loaded with a ton of features, it is great at the price it is being sold. I cannot speak for longevity of the stool, since I just received it yesterday and assembled it today. This stool was extremely easy to put together. I noticed many people complained that the design was unstable due to the way they use an extension tube combined with a standard office chair lift, but I feel the way they implemented this design is very stable. The foot ring has a 4.5 inch area that mends the lifting mechanism with the extension tube. Once the chair is put together from bottom to top, following the correct directions in the diagram, the entire length is secure and very stable. I admit to not properly following the diagram at first, and exclaiming how it is too unstable-only to look at the diagram again to notice I had not followed the design properly. You can use this stool with or without the arms. I prefer no arms for my situation. The foot ring is fixed in place and cannot be adjusted. I didn't expect any adjustment at the price I paid. This stool is inexpensive. The top of the seat is 26" high at the lowest adjustment and 31" at the highest adjustment. The seat back has approximately 2" of forward to back movement that is fixed with a knob tightener on the bottom side. The seat is a little bit small, has only moderate cushioning and is upholstered with durable feeling material that does a look a little bit low end. It is only 17" from front to back of the cushion. (My office chair has 21" from front to back) The stool isn't recommended for individuals over 250 lbs and I would say, from my own personal experience, it would not be comfortable to a person of larger size. (I did used to weigh 275lb and I would have hated it. I now weigh 190 lbs and it is just barely deep enough to feel comfortable to sit on.)Overall, it is inexpensive, and has features to match its price. I feel like this was a very good value. When I made this purchase I did not want to spend 250-300 for a lot of features and higher end looking materials, because those features were not important to me for how I am using it. I would say to other buyers: if you want a high end looking stool with a lot of comfort features, go look elsewhere and spend more money. If you need a basic, but sturdy and fairly comfortable stool, then this could be the stool you want to buy.NOTE: Amazon should standardize the measurements for chairs and stools so people can more easily make buying decisions. A chair/stool purchase should include all relevant measurements in the description. Buyers should not have to rely upon the reviews from others to find out the actual size of a seat. The description should include the size of the roller base, lowest seat adjustment, highest seat adjustment, size of the seat width and front-back, size of the back, adjustment of the seat back forward-aft, angles for the seat and back adjustment, etc. (The only reason I bought my stool from Amazon was price, several other websites offer these kinds of measurements to help the buyer. Measurements only need to be made once and shouldn't affect the price of the item)

Outstanding value for money - comfortable, doesn't look or feel cheap, great customer support
I bought 2 of these Boss Office chairs -- the blue one with loop arms. Having used several much pricier ergonomic office chairs, some nice (a few fancy Canadian-made ones with various adjustments) and some not so nice (a pair of no-name-brand gaming chairs), I can confidently say the value for money you get here is simply outstanding.Assembly was easy and intuitive, with a couple gotchas that I quickly got over:1. Be aware of the instruction sheet: it can confuse you at first. It only describes assembly WITHOUT the included footrest. In fact, while it's made for multiple configurations of the chair, nowhere does it mention or even depict the footrest. Not to worry: a quick look back at the product pictures, and I was back in business! I realized there's an additional metal sleeve specifically for the footrest. You install the metal sleeve on the base first, and the footrest on top of it, and ONLY THEN do you place the gas lift. Again, take a look at the product picture - that's exactly how it's supposed to go.2. In both chairs, the arm screws were missing, so I couldn't use the arms. One mechanism screw was stripped (not the thread - the screw itself).Fortunately, Boss has great customer service. The instruction sheets direct you to a toll-free hotline. I called and followed the agent's instructions to order replacement parts. They send the parts by non-tracked snail mail -- they arrived today, and I'm glad they did.Even so, having used the chairs for 2 weeks without loop arms, I'm very happy with them -- to where I almost feel I don't need to use the loop arms.Nothing looks or feels cheap, the build quality is excellent (it feels like it cost at least $70 more), and most of all, it's stable and comfy. Sure, it doesn't fully tilt back (only the back cushion tilts), but even with that, it's very comfortable. Well worth the purchase.

Wheels are sticking out too much.
The good:- It rolls like it's on lubrication! Very smooth! Seated, you can even push yourself off with 1 arm, on a polished floor!- It's stable, won't easily fall over- Goes pretty high.- The cloth seat, seems like it'll hold up quite a bit.- None of that Chinese cone shaped foot, like other chairs have, that breaks easily! This one is on wheels and feels firm!- I believe it can host a 250LBS guy with ease.- It looks like the chair will last a while.- While it doesn't look very professional, it can probably be used in a professional (often used) environment; due to it being sturdy and well built. The bad:- For me personally, the chair could be 2-3" lower at it's lowest position. It appears the standard chair has been heightened by the wheels (they just took a standardized size, and added wheels on the bottom). This is a pain, because now my legs are nearly touching the bottom of the bar table, at the chair's lowest setting!- The foot rest (ring) on the bottom, doesn't go up or down with the chair.- The wheels are sticking out too much! I often find myself kicking them, rocketing the chair forward!- Non leather. Doesn't look as professional- The back support is average at best. I find the best seating position, by moving the back support as far back as possible. But it's not very comfortable.

Great Value for the Money... even bought a second one.
This chair is a great value. Much more than I was expecting for $100 or so. In fact, after buying this red one, I ordered a blue one. Easy to assemble, just the right height, and reasonably solid.

I was amazed at how easy it was to assemble this chair and thrilled that it easily moves up and down with the gas mechanism. Seat is very comfortable, foot rest excellent quality, this really surpassed my expectations

Cómoda y fácil de armar
Necesitaba una silla alta y esta me pareció la mejor opción por precio y funcionalidad. Es muy fácil de armar, y es muy cómoda. Estoy feliz con mi compra.

Blue colour nicer than on photo!
The blue colour seat looks much nicer than the Amazon photo. The chair was very easy to assemble and each part looks and feels sturdy. As regards the ease of use this drafting chair is very comfortable and the adjustment lever works fine. So, if you are looking for a very nice-looking and comfortable drafting chair, this model is a reasonable deal at $125.

LOVE IT
PROs : Got this chair today, the package was considerably lighter than I expected. I'm and old lady and I had no problem getting it in the house and down the basement stairs. It took longer to unwrap all the bits than it did to build it. It was very easy to build and the directions are straightforward. I am the god of screwing up simple, I got it all right on the first go! The hydraulic lift does it's job well and quickly (played with it for a while, because I'm two.) The seat is well padded and super comfy.CONs: The wheels seem a bit stiff, but that may have everything to do with my not perfect floor, or may change with a bit of use. The back rest does not adjust back from the chair far enough. If it had an inch more distance, you would be able to get more of your legs on the seat making it comfortable for long sits...or you can just leave the back off. The foot rail is definitely too high. I am only 5'6, when the chair is at its lowest height, my knees and I can have a staring contest. A tall person would find it unusable at that height. The set up would have to be re-engineered to make it workable. For the money, it is a fantastic chair! I absolutely recommend and I would buy again.

Decent but fragile
The weld on the foot rest gave way.
