Lonely Planet Greece 14 (Travel Guide) Paperback – Folded Map, April 21, 2020

Detailed review of towns and sites of mainland Greece and Islands. Very useful and helpful.

I have used many of lonely planet's travel books in the past. I thought this one was ok. For areas outside of Athens I thought it was clear and helpful. Athens was just confusing how it was "organized" and hard to find information. The pull out Athens map was helpful to put in my day bag.

This was the perfect travel book for Greece. Our best meals came from the recommendations here. Go to Peskesi if you find yourself in Crete!!

Purchased the guide before a long overdue family vacation to Greece. Really helped us navigate and find hidden gems.

I have to admit I generally prefer rough guides but this was better even on the islands for which I did have the RG. I know Greece is full of ancient places but I did need to use local guides and maps as quite a few were not included. There is now a wonderful new road joining the coastal road to Kyparissi in the eastern Peloponnese making this coast a spectacular through drive.

It's my first travel guide in English and from Lonely Planet. Compared to other guides I have had so far, this guide differs in its LGBTQ information and basic dictionary. In general, I think that the guide includes more than basic information about Greece, which the traveler visits and can learn a lot from it.

Amplia guía actualizada en inglés con todo lo que necesitas para planificar un viaje a Grecia (península e islas). Incluye todo tipo de recomendaciones culturales, gastronómicas y prácticas para poder preparar rutas por todas las regiones, con opciones para distintos tipos de bolsillos. También destaca los alojamientos, restaurantes y visitas que más merecen la pena en opinión de cada uno de los autores. Buen equilibrio entre recomendaciones muy turísticas y sugerencias menos conocidas. Nos la llevaremos en la mochila durante todo el viaje. ¡Merece la pena!

Ausreichend informativ für einen Urlaub - die Sehenswürdigkeiten sind ausreichend beschrieben und man kann sich einen guten Eindruck über mögliche Routen durch das Land verschaffen. Die Bilder sind gut gewählt und Preis Leistung passt somit. Ich kaufe immer wieder Reiseführer dieses Verlages.

Le guide lonely planet sono una certezza per chi viaggia da solo,le uso da oltre 20anni e preferisco quelle in versione originale in inglese rispetto a quelle tradotte e adattate al pubblico italiano,in ogni modo le consiglio
