Mansfield225-5907 Stop Cap for 210 and 211 Flush Valves

This stop can is so very easy to install. Simply lift the water hose out of the center, and remove the damaged one by unscrewing it. Then screw the new one on, and place the water line back in the center. A super easy and quick repair.This cap is strong and durable, you can't go wrong with it.

I searched everywhere for this one piece because I didn’t need the whole assembly and this is the only place I could find it. It was a good price and fit perfectly. The old one broke a long time ago and I wanted to fix my boyfriend’s toilet so I found my self on the hunt for the parts. We had everything but this piece. Now it’s all fixed up and works great! Over time my toilet valve cap became loose and popped off. I ran to the hardware store to find a replacement and of course they were out of stock so I looked on Amazon and found the exact piece I needed and ordered and received it the next day. It was easy to screw off the old one and screw this one on and the repair was done! This was an inexpensive and easy repair and I ordered an extra one just to have on hand in case I ever need it!

Our condo was built in 1978, wayyy before we acquired it. The toilets are Mansfield branded and I assume they are the original units. When I compared the broken stop it seemed that the thread was much smaller than pictured here on Amazon. I ordered 2 anyway hoping they were correct. Replacing the broken stop took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I'm confident that it will fit your flush valve. I think that the part is very expensive for what it is, a small piece of polyethylene.

The 1st order never arrived as advertised and amazon had to intercede. I placed a second order and it arrived with no trouble. For what it is it seems rather pricey.
