Non-fuctioning garden tool.
Very disappointed. As soon as there is any build up of sap on the blades the spring is not strong enough to reopen the scissors. Then it is necessary to use my pinkie to push open the scissors or go back inside and clean the blades every ten minutes. It is not good for repetitive work like deadheading or thinning fruit. Obviously not very ergonomic if you have to push it open with your pinkie.

Great Quailty - please made a high-vis option too!
Perfect for smaller / female hands. The plastic 'switch' that prevents the blades opening works well. Useful for either soft stalks for slender woody pruning.Like all well made garden tools, I would have loved the option to buy it in very visabke orange or yellow colour to lessen the chance losing it somewhere outside :)

after a few days they are rusty
Delivery good.Use good.On the down side after just a few days they started going rusty. I keep oiling them after each use but but then the rust comes back.

The best garden tool I own
I bought these after the wire on my previous pair broke and I didn’t want to be without such a great garden tool, I use them all the time for deadheading and pruning. Burgon and Ball have now supplied me with a wire to repair the previous pair and I have two of these excellent tools.

For those times when roses grow on you…
A gift for a rose-growing friend who had seen them recommended by David Austin roses. Much liked and immediately put to use. Can recommend.

So comfortable to use
The design of this is so good as it fits neatly in your hand and makes deadheading so easy that you have no excuse not to do it.
