Good tent ⛺️
It's a good tent, for camping not to light weight but a good material tent. The size it's perfect for 1 person, and it feels to short for 2 persons, and I'm just 5'43", so that that in consideration. For the rest it's a good tent

Awesome... no major complaints. You could easily spend a LOT more for the same or less capability
Purchase date Oct 2016I am a purchasing consumer.I did not receive a free review sample and am not receiving any compensation for posting this review.Over a dozen camp outs and backpacking trips done with this tent. Several have been in rain / wind storm conditionsSingle person POUI did not have any problems with rain / water leaks, I did however take the time to seam-seal the rain fly and tub floor with silicone sealant. I do this with all my tents though and IMHO this should be standard protocol for ANY tent.PROS:>Good water / rain performance... tape sealed stitches and generous rain flaps over all zippers>Reflective accents, excellent visibility at night with even my dimmest flashlight setting (1 Lumen).>Price>Easy to set up>Dual doors>Excellent size / volume for single person POU. Very spatious, roomy and capable.>Excellent features for winter wind / rain storm camping conditions>Rugged enough without being over-built, over-rugged, excessive bulky or heavy>Sufficient guy lines and anchor points for winter wind storm conditions.>Pole sleeves are smooth and do not stick to poles even in wet rain-soaked conditions>Aluminum poles are well made.>Solid double wall construction. Outer rain fly with inner wall hook-suspended inside.CONS, none major.. just some minor annoyances.>Mine came with a manufacturing defect, one of my inner wall hooks was defective. I still it without any problems>Compression sack buckles do not grip the webbing very well and can fall off and get lost easily>A bit small for 2 people + gear>Not much ventilation, condensation collects on the walls in cold / wet conditions.>Red color can "mess" with the color balance of your vision. To understand this, get a red sheet of paper and in bright light hold it right up to your face for a few minutes. Pull it away and look around, notice how everything looks "green". I should have bought the yellow version.NUETRAL:>Weight... With this much capability, performance and features prepare to hump a lot of weight and dedicate a considerable volume in your pack load out. I can comfortably manage 30~35 pound load out in my 80L pack given my SAWC. Others may have problems with this.>Vestibule area is huge, which is NICE but it places the zippers very far out when doors are zippered shut, so its a bit of a crawling reach opening and closing doors all the way.

Best Four Season Tent for the Price!
Sure, if you want to spend $600+ on a four season expedition tent, you might find viable competitors, but this one withstood 30+ MPH winds and kept me warm a few very cold (as low as -10 Degrees F) nights. Had a little hiccup when setting up the tent for the first. I broke a pole tip while pulling too hard trying to get it to reach grommet - material is snug. Geertop was very responsive and immediately sent a replacement. If you decide to purchase this tent, be patient as pole sleeve will stretch slightly over time, making it easier to fit pole into grommets. Geertop explained that material is supposed to be tight to avoid flapping in high winds when tent is all set up. I loved the snow skirt and assembly was a cinch. Tent is breathable with two vents located on the top of the fly and floor stayed dry when snow camping. Having two entrances side by side is an added convenience when camping beside snow drift or boulder. Overall, I highly recommend this tent for those who want to save some money and not skimp on quality.

Bomb Proof
Went on 6 day mission to a remote boat only bank in NC. Setup at night, no issues. 48 hours 25-35 MPH winds with 10-12 hours of periods of heavy rain. Bone dry. Temps were as high as 60's and lows upper 30's. No issues staying warm. With sun shining on tent I experienced as much as 20-25 degree temp difference inside vs. outside IMO(not scientific). I had NO condensation issues inside tent. NONE. Now the inside of rainfly experienced a lot of condensation, however that is the beauty of the cavity wall/suspension system( Also you can store stuff in cavity wall, like a lot of stuff). That's how we build brick houses to weep water and condensation. It works. Ventilation is more then adequate with the huge door if you need it. Vestibule seemed huge compared to other tents I've used. Was able to cook and keep my cooler as well as other supplies and easily enter/ exit the tent. This is a roomy one person tent. I would prefer bigger beefier zippers. I would prefer bigger beefier elastic/bungee suspension system and I would prefer another vestibule in a 3 person design too. But, I love this tent as is. You can fill the snow flaps with sand if beach camping, which I did. It felt bomb proof in bad weather. I would recommend this tent to anyone who wants to go camping and does not care what the weather is going to do. East Coast storm? No problem. I did respect my equipment and I was careful with the zippers. I can't just tear my stuff up and get mad and jump in my car and go home. I'm a new Geartop fan. That's my opinion and your welcome to yours.

Threw away after 2 uses.
One of the poles was too long, making it extremely difficult to put into place. I permanently bent the pole the first time and ripped the entire corner tab off the second time. It's a shame, because it was an otherwise perfectly good winter tent.

An absolute steal of a value!
The media could not be loaded. This tent is great! First time using it the weather decided to take a turn. I was able to put this tent up by myself in windy conditions. The gusts were up to 40 mph and this tent held strong. Then the rain began, to my surprise, no leaks! Oh, and the temperature was 40 F/ 27 with the wind chill, and it was significantly warmer inside than outside. For the price, the is a must buy! Space inside has enough room for two plus a small hiking pack, the vestibule gives you about two more feet of storage as well. For my pittie (dog), my gear bag, and myself it was perfect! Short video attached attempting to show the winds.
