I have had these fans for a week... the fan only has one cable that attach to the aeolus box... Unlike the Corsair fans that has two cable, one attaches to the MoBO to control the fan speed and another to the rgb connectors.So, there is no way to have the MOBO set the fan speed... You will need to adjust it manually via the remote control provided in this set... So, make sure you don't lose it. I wouldn't buy again!

I purchased the 140mm 3 fan kit as it was affordable and I like the ring rgb.Pros - Easy to install. Magnets instead of screws is really nice for easy install of the controller. The fans themselves are quiet enough for me and are well made. RGB looks cool and works well and can sync to motherboard (if you have the header) or you can just use the controller.Cons - Here are a list of my issues with this kit.Connectors - The biggest issue I have with this kit is that the connectors to the controller are proprietary so you won't be able to use these fans without the controller and won't be able to control other brands of fans with the controller. Likewise it has 2 LED outputs that you can use with Gamdias RGB strips but this is proprietary as well and won't work with standard 4-pin or 3-pin RGB Accessories. This is not the worst thing but is a limitation of the connectors and controller.Other Minor issues - I wish the rgb ring didn't have notches in the middle between front and back rgb rings. I wish it was just a straight edge for a cleaner look. The notches just make it look a bit unappealing and cheap.The yellow logo sticker in the center of the fan is ugly. I took mine off which was easy.Fans cannot be controlled with your motherboard. The controller controls fan speed.Remote design is fine but mine needs to be pretty close to the controller to work.

The first few days, these were the greatest RGB fans for the price I've come across. After that, they would randomly turn off and on while I was using the computer. I decided to switch power cables from the PSU to see if it was a PSU or cable issue. It changed nothing. Now I have 1 singular light that blinks on one singular fan and no other activity what so ever. No air flow, nothing. I've decided to go back to spending money on quality built components that cost more but I know will last longer than a week.

I purchased these because I fried the controller for my prebuilt pc and due to the unique 8 pin connector this was the only controller I could find with the same connection. The included fans barely blow any air even on full blast. If you just want the rgb and appearance of fans theyll work great I suppose but not much past that.

this fan look pretty, thats all, its very weak, i just replaced with lian li bora fans.......night and day difference dont go cheap on fans,

Proprietary connectors, this is the set of fans you need, if you have an abs Gladiator from newegg. Works great so far no complaints!

These are excellent fans for the price, just can't go wrong!

was easy to install very bright but have the option to dim very colorful would be buying more soon.
