One of the best Cisco firewalls
There is much to say about this firewall, Cisco has an entire website about it. It is an EOL product since August 2022, they don't manufacture or sell it anymore but they can still release code for it. You can read more about it on the Cisco website.To upgrade it to the latest available code, you would need to Chat with an expert, they will open a TAC case for you with the Software Downloads team and will send you a link to download the latest available IOS code. You will not be able to download anything from Cisco's website without an "Entitlement" which can be obtained by purchasing a support contract from an authorized seller or partner. Which they will not sell you such a contract because the Cisco ASA is EOS (End of Sale) / EOL (End of Life).
