Ocean Animals and Their Ecosystems: A Nature Reference Book for Kids

Love the pictures and all of the information. Great for a curious 9 year old.

The pictures are not on glossy paper, more like just on printer paper, but they are color and well-done. There is a good amount of information on each page with several pictures as well, so it doesn't feel like a textbook. We are using this as one of our "spine" books for our Marine Science Unit Study in our homeschool. It's thorough without being too much or too little.

We are on an oceans unit for homeschool right now and had pre-ordered this book. We do like it- however i wish it had more descriptions specific. by the pictures. There are some of the sea animals that don't tell you on the page what exactly they are. ( which isnt horrible- it just means we get to rabbit hole research if we want to! ) But i love the lightness of this book and the size. My 6 year old loves to take it around the house with him.

I purchase two books for my grandsons, ages 8 & 10 as part of their Easter Baskets. They both were were excited to receive them and according to their parents, have been actively reading the books. It’s a winner.

My third grader DEVOURED this book. He loves everything to do with the ocean, but he was very excited abbot this one. It had amazing illustrations and was very well written.

my son (4th grade/age 9) read this book regularly after getting it as a gift. He loves anything marine biology and really enjoyed learning about it through this book.

My 6 year old is passionate for anything ocean related. Her aunt is a marine biologist and highly impressed with the content of the book.
