Inaccurate title. NOT good for 55" TVs
I never build the item so I cannot judge the sturdiness of this stand. I love the design however and the wood looked great and metal legs seemed sturdy. I wanted to test my TV on the top board prior and that is the picture attached. Again, this could be a great product. This is more a warning for people with 55 inch TVs. The 55" screens are bigger than the length giving it a weird look.

Not perfect for 55 inch TVs
55 inches TVs barely fit on top of the stand. That’s only you have to worry about the TV falling off the stand but also it looks kind of awkward for a 55 inch TV.

Did not provide the right screws
The screws don't fit in hole where they are plastic screws.When I was almost finished assembling it. I realized they didn't provide the right screws for bothom shelf..I had to find screws at home to complete the assembly..

Good value…just a little smaller.
The pics were a bit deceptive as it’s not as long as I thought. It still works though and good value for the money.
