Uh-Oh..nice if you need one/two/three!!
Perfect for old power cords that you can reuse when uh-oh's happen~~I had three power cords that the doggie found tasty and used these to replace the chewed up ones..They worked out perfect!! Good for all my job sites now and did not have to buy new cords!! I'm back in business..I love the Doggie again!!

COMPACT SIZE UNITS
Compared to other replacement 2-Pole 3-wire grounding cord outlets, these and their male plug equivalents are very compact compared to many of the alternative replacement units out there. Many are very bulky and awkward especially if you are repairing 14 or 16 gauge extension cords. I've repaired (2) damaged 16 gauge extension cords with these and am very happy. The extension cords look and perform like the originals without bulky/heavy replacement units.

Well made
I would've given five stars, if the opening at the end of the plug where the wire enters is made slightly larger. It's hard to fit the wire in the hole at the end of the plug.

Saved My Cord
After my extension cord lost a fight with my hedge trimmer, this saved the day! I just have a custom 48' cord on what used to be 50'. Good price point and works well. It is a little bit of a struggle to get the wires packed in there, but it is worth it for a more compact plug that looks similar to the original plug on the cord. I don't like those big, bulky, round ones. They are easier to put together, but only because they are huge by comparison. This is still a little bulkier than the cord's original plug, but fortunately the plastic guard plug on my hedge trimmer can be bent enough that this still fits. It also fits in my WORKX edger (which I also highly recommend.)

Easy to install, saved the expense of replacing the cord
I’m not a particularly handy person but this was easy for me to do once I found a video on YouTube. I had a 100 foot extension cord with a burned out plug. I didn’t want it to end up as landfill if I could help it, and I didn’t want the expense of replacing it. This inexpensive plug was exactly what I needed. Very pleased with the result.
