This is definitely a MUST have emergency tool in any car for safety!Even more since I have a Tesla, and that everything in this car is controlled electrically, and not mechanically. Which means, there is some chances that in case of a crash, nothing (especially the windows) will work any more, and the windows will stay stuck and will not operate. So, this tool will come in handy in such case, to help break your windows and also cut your (if stuck) seatbelt. That's also why, if you own a Tesla as well, you will have to keep it in your center console and not inside the glove box, since the glove box opening mechanism is also controlled by the car's computer.Otherwise, for the price it's a bargain getting two of those tools. They are lightweight, small but also VERY efficient. Be careful not to press that black tip against your thumb, but instead only against the window you need to break. I know it looks like a button that you have to press, but that's actually where the spring loaded pin rest. Pressing that with your thumb may result in a not so good experience. Ask me how I know 😅

The tear away feature is nice for secure storage but easy access when seconds could mean yours or someone else’s life.

I bought this for my husband and I, as I've seen it on Tiktok a few times and it's always good to have on you.As dumb as this is going to sound, the instructions are a little confusing. They're depicted in picture form, but not in text, and the pictures were a little confusing. I will say this: Don't push the black part in with your thumb. Don't. Cause that hurt quite a bit and there's now a little bruise/blood part on my thumb, which still hurts from the impact. To see if it works, hold the main component, black side down onto a surface you don't mind brusing. After accidentally having my thumb be the trial tester, I tried it on my work's laminated floor and I can tell you, it left a tiny sized hole where I tried it.Overall, I'd recommend the product for safety's sake, and the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is for the lack of text instructions.

I work in the fire service, and I brought this to one of our vehicle extrication drills. This broke every single tempered glass window, and it cut the seat belts faster than some of our tools. Can't recommend this enough to have in your car. Unbeatable for the price.

It's a helpful tool to carry in the car or purse. Small enough to conceal and does not take up much space.
