Bought this for my husband. He likes it.

This product makes my life so much easier when wrapping cars, I can measure panels fast because of this magnetic tape.

I ordered one of these to wrap my car. I thought "what a great idea!" Well, I received them and did some testing.Issue #1: The tape measure is made by cutting and splicing multiple tape measures together. The one I have goes from 59" to 38". You can imagine my shock when I measured the door of my mustang from edge to edge and got 38", but then when I looked at it a few inches over (accounting for overlap, where I'd cut the vinyl) it shows 66".Issue #2: The magnets didn't even have enough strength to hold the tape to the side of the car. You can't pull it tight at all, so there was a big bow in it.Issue #3: It has metal ends that could easily gouge your paint and cause you more work.This really isn't worth the material it is printed on.

Numbers are a little messed up but can still make sense of it.

Magnetic not that strong. I thought the entire ruler was magnetic. Only the tip is magnetic.

The measurement is off by nearly 1/4” and the magnets aren’t terribly strong, but I does serve it’s purpose for rough measurements on a vehicle for vinyl wrapping.

I mean there isn’t a whole lot to it so not a whole lot to say but I am glad the magnets are good and I’ve gotten some use out of it over the last couple weeks

This is a great device and does exactly what it says. It delivers better than expected performance. Very good purchase especially for the price.

Great length.End clip came off in no time. Where the magnets are, a random cut of tape is placed, so you can’t read the number underneath. Sloppy manufacturing.

This is horrible

I ordered two of these soft tape. Both of them having the same issues.Metric side is as expected, but inches side they found a way to mess up, for both tapes I ordered. I suspect that if I ask to return these to have them send me US side fixed they will return me ones with inches side good but metric side bad.See photos.China Quality at it's best (none).Sadly North America lost all it's manufactures and this is what we got now in 2023.

So it's 120 inches long, and there's some magnets that are at various positions on the tape measure. I expected that maybe they'd be spaced at every 12 inches or something to that effect, but no, there is no consistency or explanation to the positions that these magnets are placed. The first magnet from 0 is at the 60 inch (5 ft) mark, and then after that there's one at the 83, one at the 102 and the final one at the 120.And the magnets are embedded using bits of cut off tape measure pieces from other tape measures, which means that at some points the numbers are obscured by the bits of magnet that are embedded. It's not a bad product so to speak, but if you aren't going to have consistent intervals for the magnets then why not have just one magnet that clips on or something? It just seems like a bit low quality, it does what it should do which is measure things, but they really seem to cut corners on it.
