LawnMaster NPTGSP2517A No-Pull Gas Grass Trimmer with Electric Start 25cc 2 Cycle,17-Inch

Starts right up, seems to have lots of power. Only downside I see it’s a little heavier than my stihl or husqvarna, but I’m ok with that because of the ease of starting.

The worst guaranty, so cross your fingers so it never brakes. This one broke in less than a year and with light household use. They are not made to last.It worked fine for some Months, then one day, after working for about 1hr , it made a quick vibration and then something broke inside the engine. Just by doing regular edge trimming. I went back and forth with their customer service for trouble shooting. First they told me, “ok your are going to send the machine back for replacement” and they provided me a form to email back to them, then 4 days later they responded via email saying , “sorry, we made a mistake, for this machine you will have to take it yourself to a service center”. I called them again to ask why , they say “sorry that is our policy nothing we can do” And the closest service center is 65 miles away , on another state, with tolls! (over 3 hrs drive back and forth) and all that so they can evaluate an see “if guaranty will proceed.”This is RIDICULOUS!I will never buy again any product from this brand. And it was not exactly cheap. They might look nice but won’t last and their guaranty is just a joke.

I’ve only used it once but it has power and is designed by someone who’s done some weeding in the past. Centered, balanced, and it flings stuff away from you. The starter worked perfectly. Perfectly. The only thing is it has a smell; You probably should wear a chemical mask when operating.

Starts easy works well.

The low marks I gave it is how it relates to me. It's too long for me (5'7"). Would be great if I was taller. It is heavier, definitely needs a strap which doesn't come with it and is now an option until you get the brochure that comes with it. It is my first electric start weed eater. It starts immediately. It does require high rpms in order to cut (higher than weed eaters I've used before).

I want to thank Amazon for there rapid response to the purchase of this grass trimmer. After many tries with the LawnMaster company Amazone took the problem over and fixed it right away. As for the trimmer I can not rate it because it is still not functional. The closest repair shop to get this looked at and find the issue is 285 miles from my house. So a BIG thanks to Amazon but so far it's a thumb down with the company LawnMaster

The starting battery in mine has worn out after just a year, and of course, there's no alternate means of starting this unit. I've ordered another battery (for $30) and we'll see if that one lasts as long.
