Gel polish swatches
I used these for my gel polish swatches and they writhed great. They are a little shorter than what i would like so i just painted part of the handle as well.

PERFECT!!!
These are exactly what I needed. I'm not a professional nail tech, nor am I certified. BUT....I do my own nails at home because it's way cheaper than spending $50-$100 every 2 weeks to go them done. ANYWAY!! I have a bunch of different colors in my dip set. I wanted a way to be able to see them without flipping the container over each time and moving it around to see what it would look like in different lighting. I got these, hoping they would be of good quality (because, frankly, their cheap!). I will tell you, though...I'm not disappointed one bit! you can file these, buff these, paint, shellac, acrylic, and dip these. SOOOOOO amazing! Such a good find. ALSO, they have numbered stickers that are very sticky but you can also remove and replace right away if you placed it on the wrong one....I definitely did this. There are 2 sets of numbers 1-100 so you can place a number on the nail swatch and the corresponding number on the color you used for that swatch. So handy!

You need to paint them on the underside!
Maybe this is obvious to some, but this is the first time I have ordered this type of item for displaying nail colors. Previously, I had used the opaque color wheels where you paint the top of the fingernail. I started doing that to these, but noticed that the nail colors had a sort of matte-like finish, even though the nail polish itself is glossy. I resigned myself to the fact that I'd have to follow-up with a top coat to make them shiny. Then, it somehow dawned on me to paint the undersides and then the colors looked fine as the top of the clear fingernail was already shiny. A simple piece of paper with an instruction stating, "paint the underside of the nail" would have been great. I tried to take the nail color off of the sticks I painted incorrectly, but the nail color would not come off completely. How is that even possible? I don't know, but it is. :-(The attached picture shows what the nail stick looks like when painted on top (which is incorrect) and what it looks like when painted from the bottom (which is the correct way to do it). It's not the same shade, just showing the difference between both application techniques. Finally, the rings are a little to small and a little too flimsy to hold 50 sticks each. I dropped one of the rings and it popped open and all my sticks, which were in nail shade order, went flying all over the place.

Nice
Served their purpose. Worked great for making nail swatches but I wasn’t super impressed by the quality.
