These go on a little later at dusk, but are reliable and work great.

Easy install on outdoor lights!
I installed these on the outdoor porch and garage lights. They were easy to install and made the outdoor lighting work from dusk-to-dawn. Now I don't have to be home to operate the lights. Affordable option!

Don't Waste Your Money
None of the three photocells worked. I spent an hour wiring all three of these into my yard light, and none of them worked. Don't waste your money.

Works great, easy installation, saved a bunch of money on outdoor garage lights.
I have three LED wall-mounted outdoor lights I bought from Costco just a few years ago. The lights had proprietary LED/light sensor modules that all failed just a few months apart. I was able to combine these photo-switches with some standard bulb sockets to replace the failed LED modules and saved about $120 over having to buy 3 new lamp units. Plus now I have the flexibility to use standard LED bulbs and change them out in a variety of lumens, color temperatures, and colors whenever I wish.

I purchased these dusk to dawn sensors for my gf. She always forgets to tune off or on her porch lights. I'm an electrician so it wasn't too difficult. These sensors will not fit inside most porch lamps and if mounted remotely you'll need to extend the wires. I suggest having the sensors professionally installed or Profesional guidance for the install. Overall the product works as it should

takes a little time to turn on
I think most of the low ratings come from people who didn't realize that it takes a while (-30 seconds) before the sensor turns on the light..and is not instant on like their light switch. You can test by fully covering the sensor with duct or electrical tape..or just test when dark. Make sure you wire it correctly..I had to fix one that I connected and it worked fine.
