These are delicious. Yes, they taste FISHY! THEYRE MADE OUT OF FISH!!! And they are fabulous. My 11 mo twins love them too. I tear them into little pieces and they gobble them up. We do these or soft jerky as snacks instead of glyphosate soaked cereals.29 grams of protein, dang!

As a rule. I do not submit negative reviews, but this product has earned special treatment. I have never tasted a worse "snack" in my life. I love fish. I love the taste of fish. I was not hesitant about trying this product as a fish-based snack, And it is horrible. The best thing I could say about the taste is that it is weak and non-offensive. But the mouth feel! Ugh! The wafers quickly turn from a rice cake-like consistency to a fibrous mass of chewy, vaguely fish-flavored pulp. One mouthful and the bag was thrown out. This ain't your father's fish snack, and it shouldn't be yours either.

The texture and flavor are exactly what I'd expect from freeze-dried cod. The water removal leaves the 'chips' with a concentrated fishy flavor that most people will not enjoy, but I liked it and the product contains gobs of protein. It was particularly good with green tea but, for some reason, white wine upped the fishy flavor.It's definitely worth trying if you're a fish afficionado, but if you're just looking for the very best way to enjoy cod, that is still battered and deep-fried, preferably in an all-you-can-eat situation.This company has numerous other products - not all seafood - that I will try based on the quality of this product.

Here’s what I recommend: put these in a toaster oven, edge to edge in an aluminum pan, and broil them at about 375 degrees Fahrenheit for a couple of minutes, then carefully turn them over and do the same on the other side. Get them to the point where they turn a nice orange. Remove them before they burn—you must keep an eye on them. Enjoy with butter and caper salt or garlic salt. Also good as a kind of Melba toast base for tuna salad, cream cheese, sardines…sky’s the limit! The perfect keto cracker!

Mine came really stale. They were hard to chew.. :/ Good flavor & protein, but again, we’re stale. I was expecting & hoping, for more of a very, crispy crunchy bite.. 😪

Imagine someone went to the pet isle and grabbed a bunch of fish flakes and formed them into fifty cent pieces, then charged you $10 for a single serving sized bag…that is what these cod bites tasted like to me. I gave them a shot. They are not the worst things I have ever stuck into my mouth but they aren’t anywhere close to the best either. I believe it when I read another’s review that they are an acquired taste that “grew” on them. But, at $10 a pop for such a tiny bag of them why would you want to? Curiosity fulfilled, I’m out.

The bag contains a very small amount of Cod bites, which have very little taste. The sold-called crisps are not crispy. They are soft and stale. The seller should be ashamed to sell this product for $10.49 given the small amount of "crisps" and the lousy product. Buyer be ware!
