I got this belt for my husband who is on his third, yes third, umbilical hernia. He does not use the pressure pad as he found that to be uncomfortable to his hernia. The belt, though, he wears. He loves it. He was wearing a belt that was much larger top to bottom and it rolled and bunched and was just a nuisance. Plus that belt gave him very little actual support. This one does great though. Even though he is a large man, with a very pronounced belly, this works great. He's not as hot while wearing it and it stays put. This is by far the best hernia support belt he's ever had.

I ordered this for my 90 year old mother who has an umbilical hernia. She weighs 108 lbs. and is very petite. I originally ordered the small size for her. It was like a kid's size. I returned it and ordered a replacement. This time I got the large size. It still didn't fit around her waist. I don't even want to attempt to order an XL size. I'm done.On a positive note, I can use the little foam pad that came with the support belt. It is attached by Velcro, and can be used with other support belts. It worked with my mother's existing Home Depot back support belt, but she may need one size larger to accommodate the foam pad. Other than that, I don't recommend this product.

Belt does not have accurate sizing. Runs small and no room for pad. Also does not stay in place, rolls down as you move. Unless being of a thin body style with minimal BMI, it will roll down and out of place of any navel area. A review without mentioning body size is useless. Just tried to purchase a belt that wasn't so visible under shirt. This is not the answer. A wide belt with shoulder straps is far superior provided it's the right waist size.

I have had surgery before on my umbilical hernia. It was a fail and the pain, discomfort is greatly increasing. This belt makes me so much more comfortable. You can definitely see bulge beneath clothing, however the relief it delivers is worth it. It also assists in keeping hernia internal.

It deserves 5 star compare to other belts, but it needs more than one support slat to prevent severe curling of the sides. Otherwise it has provided me support so I can move better with a large hernia I developed after surgery. I am having 12 inches ventral hernia repair April 30th--6 hr surgery. Thanks for this belt , I have been able to tolerate it more comfortable. I will also if able to use it after surgery, as a prevention and security support. I am going to see about adding those two support side slats.

It is Huge. No way would I wear it out of my home. Wanted it for gym to press in the hernia. Makes your hernia look enormous as well as whole stomach area, embarrassing.

Heavier/thicker/rougher than expected so pretty obvious underneath summer weight clothing.Doesn't breathe well so sweaty in summer weather.If it was returnable, I would definitely have returned & tried something else. As it is not, I'll make do for a while.

I've tried a few and all were so uncomfortable that they were useless. I'm 4'11" and really have no waist. This 5" band has done the trick! I'm glad I took one more chance. I'm going to try and make a fleece sleeve for to add extra comfort.

Great product , this is my second belt.The only flaw- which is in most of the stomach belts - is that it might chaff the skin after intense cardio sessions

I can assure you this product really help a lot. And even size is correct. My mother is very happy with this product. Just go for it.I am writing this comment after my mom used it for more than 2 weeks.Significant changes are there after 2 weeks of use.

Size confusion if I brought xl it will become small if I brought xxl it will be too large I have purchased nearly 5 belts

It is really helpful on placing it on hernia. Fabric is soft and comfortable to wear

I had another hernia belt from a different manufacturer in size XL that is too tight to bear. I ordered this belt in size XXL, but it is actually a bit loose. However, the workmanship seems to be excellent. Parcel came early, so good shipping speeds.
