The item had very minimal work to install and uses a standard water hose as the drain. It ran all night with no issues and removed the standing water on the pool cover and then shut itself off exactly as expected. It was easy to start, easy to use, easy to put away.

This is a great pump. Automatic start and stop. Highly recommend this product. Very little water left at bottom of pool

Pump has been working well for a few years now. Recently I broke the adapter by pulling on the house. The company sent me a replacement part free of charge. Very satisfied with the service!

I bought a cheaper pump that did not have a cut off switch and a base stablizer. Needless to say it fell over and the pump burnt out! This pump has a great base that keeps it from falling over and the cut out switch is very useful though I do find you have to keep your eye on it as it can keep sucking if there us a lot of debris around the pump. It did stop working once and the company immediately sent a replacement with no questions asked. (I think it might have tripped the breaker when it was sucking air once.) All in all I am very pleased with this pump. It's definitely worth the extra money.

I purchased the Acquaer 1/4 HP Automatic Swimming Pool Cover Pump in late October 2023, hoping it would serve me well as a pool cover pump in the Northeast over the harsh winter months. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of frustrating.From the start, the pump never worked well, requiring constant resets to get it to function. I had to intervene repeatedly, which defeated the purpose of an automatic pump. Despite my efforts, the pump's performance continued to deteriorate.Recently, as I prepared for this season's closing, I discovered that the pump no longer works at all. I've attempted to contact the company multiple times via phone and email, seeking support and guidance, but my efforts have been met with complete silence.Based on my experience, I would not recommend the Acquaer pool cover pump to anyone. In hindsight, I regret not purchasing another Wayne pump, as my previous one lasted almost 10 years without issues. I was trying to save a few dollars, but it's clear that you get what you pay for.If you're in the market for a reliable pool cover pump, I strongly suggest exploring alternative options. The Acquaer pump's poor performance, lack of support, and short lifespan make it a product to avoid.Don't make the same mistake I did – invest in a quality pump that will serve you well for years to come.

Works great , gets all the extra water off our pool cover after it rains

When I first got my pump I was impressed and extremely satisfied with it and the value of my purchase. Over the course of the year I noticed it was not working exactly as it had when new. I contacted the Acquaer service team and they sent me some trouble shooting options and assured me they would take care of my problem. I worked through the options and got my pump working albeit not perfectly. I contacted the service team at Acquaer and told them what the situation was. They immediately got back to me and let me know they were going to replace my pump with a new one. I actually received the new pump within three days.Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company and thier product.Thank T you Acquaer Service Team.

Excellent product. It has saved me so time and headaches. I used to have to go outside and manually plugged in my old pool pump - no matter the weather or time of day. Now I just leave this plugged in and don’t have to worry about it. Absolutely worth every penny.
