A powerful mini!
This Cuisinart Mini Chopper was a replacement for a previous model that I had for years. I found this newer one is the same great quality, with an improved lid. It's powerful, easy to clean and works quite well for small jobs.

Impressive piece of equipment.
this is without a doubt the best food processor I've ever owned. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but everything about it is beautifully made, heavy duty, and perfectly fitted with no sloppy parts rattling around. High quality all the way around. I can shred a whole head of cabbage in just a couple of minutes. I've even used it to make ground meat. It's handles everything we've thrown at it, from making salad dressing to shredding cheese to grinding meat.

This newer model is the best!!
This particular mini-chopper is a gem! It replaces a really old one I used to death! This model has a bit of a larger capacity that I find quite useful, and it has a feature that I love; the blade does not have to be removed to take the cup from the motor section. It locks easily and works great! I highly recommend!

Convenient, light weight, compact-ish.
It does the job. I wanted something larger than my Black & Decker Handy Chopper Plus that I 've had for many years and this Cuisinart MCH-4 was my first try. So far it is blending fruit (banana, mandarin orange) with almond milk adequately to add to protein shakes and pureeing cottage cheese for a healthier queso dip. It is noisy but is not noticeably louder than my other chopper. It has a stable base and stays put during use but it does seem to take a little longer to do similar tasks compared to my ole one. While I have had it leak from the top, between the bowl and lid, it is minimal and rare and might be more about learning where the fill limit line is for different ingredients.Assembly and cleaning is simple and easy. The cord storage underneath is a nice touch and functions OK. I do like the compact size as I have limited countertop and cabinet space. While I am already debating buying a larger capacity chopper/grinder, I am using this one almost daily and cannot come up with any reason to not recommended it.

Yes!
I use this two or three times every week -- the perfect size, easy to store (small footprint and doesn't weigh much), easy to clean, and powerful enough for the smaller chopping tasks. Love it!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THE CUISINART CORE SERIES 4-CUP PROCESSOR
I purchased the Cuisinart Core Series 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder in March 2024, hoping it would be a reliable kitchen companion.First ImpressionsThe first few uses were satisfactory; the chopper/grinder efficiently handled basic tasks like chopping vegetables and blending dressings.Performance IssuesHowever, my experience took a turn after about two months of use. I had used the chopper/grinder around eight times, primarily for making hummus and salad dressings. During my eighth use, while making hummus, the unit abruptly stopped working. After about a 10-minute break, I tried to restart the unit. It worked for approximately 20 seconds before stopping again. I had to transfer the partially processed ingredients to a blender to finish the recipe. I reached out to Cuisinart customer service. To their credit, they were responsive and sent me a replacement unit.Replacement Unit WoesUnfortunately, the replacement unit also proved disappointing. On its very first use, it stopped processing halfway through the ingredients. I waited another 10 minutes, after which the unit restarted, allowing me to finish the task. This pattern of stopping and starting made the experience incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.Customer ServiceWhile I appreciate Cuisinart's prompt response and willingness to send a replacement, the fundamental issue with the product's performance remained unresolved. The issue would appear to be due to overheating, but it never felt warm when it stopped working.ConclusionGiven my experience, I would not recommend the Cuisinart Core Series 4-Cup Chopper/Grinder. Consistency and reliability are crucial for kitchen appliances, and this product fell short on both fronts. I got two months of use from the first unit and barely one use from the second unit...that's unacceptable for any appliance, let alone one from Cuisinart. For anyone considering a compact chopper/grinder, I would suggest looking into other options that offer better performance and reliability. That's what I am doing.

Used, but TERRIFIC!
Took a chance and purchased used. Obviously as the picture of the shows. Was a bit nervous opening. Once I did, inside was beautiful, like new!PRO'S:- The cord - It easily retracts into the base.- The lid - Unlike the Cuisinart Elemental, with the Core models the lid easily locks into place. The Elementals lid must have been designed by someone who never cooks because it’s unnecessarily complicated, serious pain to deal with! Returned that model.- Power - Bigger IS better. Watts DO matter. Tried a Kitchenaid, but the lame 250watts was pathetic. Started using this Cuisinart Core day 1 and it has a powerful motor (950w), love it. Has power needed for making ground beef, chopping nuts - zero issues! There's no dough blade included. But please see Pic, experts actually don't recommend them! 😉Had an older Cuisinart for years and it was a true workhorse. Unfortunately that model is no longer made. This is the closest to it, with the added benefit of having additional accessories available.Thank you Amazon for the great deal ($50 bucks)!!!
