Two-Timing Scumbaggery Wins
Book 5 is an interesting one in the series - it follows the same ideas as Book 4 but Leon makes a few choices that seem questionable at best. The pacing is good and introduces a new villain which everyone can hate and feel sorry for. The ending is satisfying and opens the door for to happen in the Alzer Republic. A lot of characters get some character development and overall a good read.TLDR; 7 - 7.5/10

Like it!
Toller Teil der Reihe. Und da ich nicht Spoilern möchte gehe ich nicht genauer ins Detail.

Misguided
I was very disappointed by this volume. It started as an almost cliche isekai story with a ridiculously overpowered main character. Not to everybody's taste, but if people buy the 5th volume they ought to like that, don't they? Yet for some reason, some of such series decide to become all serious and all obstacles suddenly out of nowhere are almost impossible to overcome. Same here. Unfortunately it did not work. The events of the book are almost exclusively caused by the characters being remarkably stupid. And if that weren't exhaustive enough, the main conflict is just a shallow misunderstanding that was poorly written and is artificially enforced and kept alive for way to long.I'm glad it's over.
