I am very pleased
I bought this in April and it is now December. I have had the chance to use this for several months and I still really like it. It is pretty sturdy and well made for the price. I put a weighted bag in the middle to stabilize it. The bulb that came with could be brighter as some people have mentioned, but it is perfectly bright enough for me. I have taken some really nice photos with this. I plan on buying a second one.

Good quality lighting
We originally bought these lights for photography but now we use them to create great lighting for our huge puzzles! The light quality is excellent and the lights are easy to set up and move around. They do take up a little bit of space so they can get in the way but they’re lightweight but not flimsy so they’re easy to put away or move around. Overall they have exceeded expectations and are multipurpose lights for a great price.

More than you pay for!
While this product represents a good value, I'm concerned with it's overall build construction.Arriving on time and in a package marked "fragile" everything inside was well packed and undamaged. The CFL bulbs are 5500k, which is in the daylight spectrum and casts a clean blue-white hue. The bulbs use 43 watts each, which is equal to a 110 watt incandescent bulb in lumens. Additionally, CFLs take a few moments to achieve full brightness, even longer in colder conditions, since you are electrically charging a fluorescing gas inside. Translation: give these fixtures a couple minutes before determining if they're bright enough for your intended use.The overall value is improved by the ease of use, specifically the tripods. After about three minutes, everything was set up and turned on. While you don't get a carrying bag or case, all the components fold down to a manageable size and are very easy to store or transport. Also, there's threaded caps on each tripod that come off and expose a standard camera mount post. Very handy if natural light is adequate and you want to mount a second or third cam.The build quality is the only real concern here. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5 for a very usable $40 kit. The locking points on the tripod are plastic and would easily break if overtightened. The same holds true with the light/diffuser mount, and in the outdoors a stiff wind could cause failure at the attachment points. The tripod post doesn't fully insert into the light mount, I'll post a pic. Not a huge deal if all you're doing is setting these up once for a shoot without any intention of multiple repositioning. I would've liked to see a deeper recess in the mount for a more secure attachment. But hey, for less than $40 I'm thrilled with the outcome. The light is clean and crisp, and the quality of my videos are pics are improved. Since we're only using them to shoot YouTube vids in the house, I feel like I'll get a decent lifespan from this kit, which is why I'm giving it a 4 star overall rating.

Perfect For Bloggers
I purchased this lighting kit because I'm a blogger and was looking for a way to add more light to my photos. This umbrella light was the perfect solution. It gives off lots of light without being too harsh. I love that adjustable stand. It can adjust to well beyond 6 feet which is great for helping to control how close or far away you want your light source to the object that you're photographing.Using this umbrella light has greatly increased the quality of my cooking vlogs as well. This lighting kit is definitely worth the investment whether you're a pro-blogger like me or photographer or someone who just likes taking pictures and filming videos. The quality is really good. I've only had my light two weeks but it's gotten plenty of use already. I will definitely be purchasing more of these kits.

fully functional for photo and video lighting
Details:Everything you need for soft diffused lighting. Stands are metal, but very light weight. Rod holder plastic and light weight. Umbrella translucent with 50% reflectivity. Non dimming simple on/off switch. Bulb fluorescence, 5500k as advertised. Everything is designed to work together.Experience:Nothing really stands out about this set, Very basic and functional. Light weight, easy to assemble, soft true white light. Though fluorescent bulb it is non flicker at all standard video shutter rates.Cons:I don't think it's anywhere near 400w, which makes the Non dimming a non issue. No bag. Conclusion:For the price it is a good choice, but I'll be replacing with something more substantial with a brighter bulb, that is dimmable and has a storage bag..

Easy to set up, amazing value for price point
This is an excellent product, especially at the price point. I use this a small my lighting source for a Mixer stream and it does exactly what I need. I need good lighting for a green screen setup and this does the trick without any issues. One of the bulbs came burnt out, likely an issue during shipping (although they were packed very well). I reached out to Emart and they sent two replacement bulbs, extremely fast response time from customer care.Very easy to set up, took five minutes tops to get them unboxed and ready for positioning. The metal umbrella prongs may bend easily, so be cautious with them.

Nice.
Great kit, I would suggest not packing the fabric close to the opening of the box so that a sharp knife doesn't cut the fabric inside the box as it's being cut open.

Exactly what I needed for my Portrait Studio
This emart umbrella and light kit was purchased so that I could add more light to my makeup station area as do not have enough room for a makeup counter and light so we have a chair by the window and we were relying on the light coming through the window from outside for the makeup artist to work. However, there are many days when it's cloudy and there isn't enough light for the makeup artist so I saw another makeup artist use this kit and I loved how well it worked. I have not upgraded the 45w bulb to a 105w bulb and it's perfect for my studio...small, sturdy and lights the makeup corner perfectly.
