I measured accurately and purchased according to the size chart and what I got is extremely too large for my puppy. Additionally, the straps are thick, wide, and very stiff, which is not comfortable for a small dog or puppy. And the leash is heavier and wider than it needs to be for a small dog. All in all, while it seems to be fairly well made, it is not suitable for little dogs or for puppies, who need something softer.

Fits perfectly on our pup
XS fit perfect for our 8 week puppy, although she’ll probably grow out of it soon. Great value as it comes with a harness, collar and leash that so far has all held up well.
