Very good, clear patterns.easy to follow.

I really liked this pattern, I made the trousers and included the side pleated pockets. However, I would say that I've never had such a not so simple simplicity pattern before. The pattern is good for Alevel fashion or for someone who is experienced and knowledgeable of reading pattern instructions as these were very wordy and complicated. Overall, the trousers made were really nice but if you will wear them with a belt then it would be best to adjust the pocket/beltloop pattern piece the make the belt loops longer and then adjust and add the length you've added to the belt loops to the pattern markers/tailor's tack on the trousers.

I have just purchased this pattern from Amazon after buying the same pattern from another site and I have EXACTLY the same problem… there is a duplicate sheet of the man’s shirt pattern and no sheet for the trousers. I’m not meant to make these! Obviously a manufacturer problem but Simplicity have not replied.

So quick and easy to make

Trouser style and pockets seem very old fashioned, as in no waistband. Waist needs an extra hook to hold securely in place at the front. Shirt is casual with open collar but once again old style without a shoulder panel. No strength in the collar.

I was impressed with my first sewing project. I made my son the shirt and it looks good ! This pattern was easy to follow.

Excellent size choices. Love that you get a child and an adult pattern in the same envelope.
