Zeller 26207 2-Piece 52 x 30 x Chopping Board/Worktop Saver Set for 4-Hob Cookers Glass

I bought these to cover my new induction hob.My kitchen work-top is about 60cm wide, excluding the sink and hob, so I have no choice but to use the hob as extra work-surface when cooking.Like most induction hobs it has touch-sensitive controls and pan-detection, so if you try to use it as a work-surface it is constantly noticing that you have touched it, or moved a pan on (to) it, and beeps, asking if you want it to turn on. Short of turning the hob off with the main kill-switch on the wall I spent half my time turning the hob off because it detected a knife, then realised it was not a pan, and got all shirty with me.I picked this set because the price was good, and they did not have a cheap and taky looking picture printed on them. Simply patterned glass.Down-side, huge tall feet. They stand 2.5 cm above the surface. My indication hob is flat.So I took the feet off. All I did was make a small cut around the base of the foot with a sharp blade, and then knocked the feet off with a small tap from a small hammer.Then it was easy to stick new feet on, that are only a 2mm thick, and it sits on my hob, allowing me to use the hob as work-top without constantly Being notified by the hob that I have put a pan down.

This is a pack of 2 and was packed really well and delivered quickly. I bought these to cover my ceramic hob and im really please with them. I have cats that jump up onto the work surface and i was concerned that they might walk onto the hot ceramic hob and also im a bit brain foggy at times with Fibromyalgia so didn't want to accidently burn myself either! Both glass chopping boards/hob covers are sturdy, solid but not heavy. They've got glass feet under them which keeps them high enough away from the hob and i can see if the hob residual heat indicators are lit through the glass. Nice pattern on the glass to obscure the hob but not lights. I do use these as chopping boards as they give you a bit more work surface which is another bonus. I cover the hob with these as soon as i've removed the pans and the hob is still hot and i've not had any problems at all. As they are made from glass they are very easy to wipe clean.

Very good idea to protect your hob

Needed to protect a caravan hob top, and as I already had a set of these from years ago, (all be it a different make) on my house cooker, I ordered with confidence. However my old set had removable feet and could be adjusted to fit any cooker top. These Zeller ones have fixed feet and although the glass was the perfect size I needed, the fixed feet fouled the edges of the cooker and would not sit correctly. I was lucky as they did fit on my kitchen hob though. So I altered the feet on my old set and have used those in the caravan. The new ones work perfectly and I am very pleased with them, But this is all worth baring in mind.

I purchased these in August 2016, so I've given them good use before writing a review as anyone should do. One of my best purchases, covers both my hobs comfortable and leaves no mark (has nice sturdy rubber feet). Even better I have extra storage space for storage items temporally when hobs are not in use. The glass is really thick so hold light/medium weight item (bowls, pots, etc) without bowing in the middle. Needless to say I am delighted with my purchase.

Looking alright, haven’t tried it after cooking or near it. I’m pleased as it fits the measurements and gives a neat look while protecting the hob glass. Ideal for a small kitchen in need of more counter space :). I can even use half a side only when cooking.The only annoyance is not with the product but the delivery company via Hermes which is not ideal- had to chase my parcel as it was left in another building. Always there is an issue with these guys.

We’ve just moved to a house with a small kitchen. As we have only a limited worktop and a brand new cooker I thought I’d give these nifty little gems a try and solve 2 problems in one. They’re absolutely perfect, fitting the cooker top precisely, and they’re exactly the right height to run level with the rest of the work top. Easy to clean, I also like the way they come as two parts meaning I only have to lift one if I just want to use one or two hobs. Highly recommended.

The description states these are over safe to 220 degrees, this is misleading and dangerous. I thought these would be safe to leave on the hob whilst using the oven at a lower temperature, but the rubber feet are not safe, they were glowing and smoking and nearly started a fire.Amazon were great though.

Sono soddisfatto per questo prodotto, mia moglie si lamentava che aveva poco spazio tra lavello e cucina, circa 5 CM, poggiando questo tagliere ha recuperato 30 CM e puo' utilizzarlo come piano d' appoggio.A differenza degli altri, colorati, disegnati etc.. questo ha il vetro non liscio ma molto robusto, e in piu' ha i piedini in gomma di ben tre centimetri.Spedizione e imballaggio eccellenti, sia come tempistica in anticipo di 8 giorni che protezione del prodotto.Ciao

me soluciona optimación del espacio y limpieza porque supone una ganancia de superficie sobre la cocina de vitrocerámica. Es fácil de limpiar

diese kochfeld abdeckplatten sind wirklich super:sie passen auf meinen elektroplattenherd (sind ein bisschen zu breit, aber das ist nicht schlimm, da sie trotzdessen fest und gerade stehen) und haben füße mit antirutsch gummis, sodass es wirklich stabil steht.optik ist auch zufriedenstellend - man kann sehr gut den dreckigen herd verstecken, wenn man mal nicht zum putzen kommt :-)hitzbeständig sind sie auch - wenn also die herdplatte noch sehr heiß ist das essen jedoch nicht mehr kochen sollte - was bei mir oft der fall ist - kann man einfach die platte über die entsprechende herdplatte geben und das fertige essen hat einen platz zum stehen ohne zu kochen oder anzubrennen!perfekt zum küche vergrößern und auch ein guter fettspritzschutz!
