One of the top gym benches for the money. Strong and sturdy for lifting.
I am 5'9 and 235 pounds and like to use my equipment. I had purchased a XR 5.9 but was disappointed in that it was flimsy and unstable. This LINODI bench is a newer version of their previous one, by LINODI, as it has some cutouts in the side for better range of motion. I bought it because of the price/performance and the construction of it. I thought I was going to have to buy a flat utility bench and keep the XR 5.9 but was able to sell it and now am very very happy with this ONE versatile bench.PROS:-it actually does lay flat (seat and main bench)-dual bars underneath for the back board and seat board creates a sturdier platform, unlike other products which only have one bar down the middle. There is less wobble and side to side motion as the forces are spread out.-quick and easy to use sturdy post for creating incline, decline and flat positions. It is like the one at the gym with no need for a pin to secure it. Other products just use a arc sharped, thin piece of metal with holes and a pin to secure it. With this one, Just lift and it slides into place.-the shape of it is sturdy and strong. I just tested it and can actually do a one arm back row with my palm and knee on the top of the head board with a 82 pound dumbbell. I can actually do tricep dips without flexing themain board.-it is foldable so can stow away easier when company comes over-fairly light and easy to move around-scratch guard plastic leg end pieces-easy assembly. Came pretty much assembled just had to put in 2 pins (one for main bench and one for the seat) and then the leg holder. No tools needed just hands.CONs:-decline function isn't that great BUT most weight benches like this and price range are not good for decline due to the shin/leg holders not being out front far enough but if they designed it this way then the compliant would be that the shin/leg holders are too far forward. Just use a piece of wood, like in the picture, or something sturdy to raise it (like possibly the step-up exercise risers)-gap between main board and seat. No way getting around it if you want two pieces to move independently. (getting nit picky here as even the benches at the regular gym have this). It doesn't bother me.I don't do many product reviews but with so many people working out at home due to corona and keeping things on a budget this was a great find and buy FINALLY after doing hours of research on benches and most being out of stock or more expensive. I recommend this for light or heavy folks. This could be your goldilocks!Updated: months later on 3/22/2021 The seat part is made of particle board / plywood so be careful not to do pushups just using the seat (left and right side as it can crack the wood). One can also crack it using heavy weights (60+ pound plus dumb bells in each hand) and leaning right or left to much puts too much stress on it. Seat is still whole, but did hear 1-2 slight crack strains. Still a great bench in my opinion.

Great for people with little space
It's exactly what I wanted, my family has gotten bigger and space smaller so this was nice to be able to have a bench that is easy to assemble and easy to tuck away.

This isn’t adult friendly. I mean is it’s too small.
I’m 5ft 9 230 and I need a better more secure seat. Something that will allow my body to adjust when performing sit ups. Also the angle design is way off. Needs to be a longer bench also with more opportunities. Folding in half is not nearly as important to me as it not working.

Comfortable light bench
I think it's a nice light bench, with zero flex. Very steady, easy to move by the hook.

Functional Bench
Decent bench. Padding is a little on the thin side and stability is good, but not great. Assembly very easy. Good bench for at home use.

Does what I need it to
This bench definitely does what I need it to...there was virtually no assembly, and it adjusts easily. I gave it four stars instead of five because I did a few step ups with 10 pound weights, and it wobbled enough that I put the weights down. Step ups are not something I do normally, so it won't end up being an issue overall.

Good Bench
Very happy with this bench. Easy set up and take down. Appears to be well made - used for about 6 weeks now.
