Powerful compact, AC power tire inflator.
Since most of the gas station in my city no longer have air/water service at their gas station, or if those few still have the air station available, sometime they are just too dirty, or not working. On top of that it kind of costly to keep adding quarters to keep the machine running while you adding air to the tires.Since we have 3 cars in our family, I am primarily used this tire inflator to add more air to the tires if they are running low so I thought give this unit a try instead of driving around to look for the gas station with air service available or not. This unit is very well build, the air hose is coiled and about 8' so you can easily move from front to rear tire if needed also comes with a small green box with different adapters for basketball, bike tire, inflatable air mattress etc. The unit is also wall mountable with included plastic bracket. Electrical cord is kind of short about 6' max so if your outlet is on garage sidewall, you will need the extension cord to lengthen it to use on the opposite tires of your car. Built in PSI gauge is pretty accurate too, occasionally it off by 1, 2 psi so I just slightly pump 1, 2 psi just to be sure. It a bit noisy and slightly bounce around on garage floor so I just rest my knee on it while using and to prevent it from "escaping" my garage.I also looked at the DC power tire inflator too but found it a bit clunky to use, and if you put this in a trunk of any of the 3 cars when done. Then by the time other car needs air re-fill, it may not be available since its either at work or at school. Additionally, to use DC power inflator, you first have to roll down the windows or open the door to plug in the DC cord. The manual for DC power also required the engine is running while using the DC tire inflator. In my case, the garage already "snug" with 2 cars parked inside, having the door open or inhale the exhaust fumes while refilling the air is cumbersome/unsafe so I chose the DC power Slime 40045 instead and returned the DC power for a full refund. Hope this review will help your purchase decision.

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money on this junk.Bought one to replace my old Slime pump I've had for close to a decade after the 12v plug broke. The first one died after about 10 minutes trying to pump a trailer tire up from 50 to 65psi. It got to about 55psi and then stopped increasing the pressure. Checked it with my good pressure gage which read 54psi. Pump wouldn't get it any higher.Returned it via Amazon and got a replacement figuring it was just defective or damaged in shipping (the box was a little roughed up). Went to use the replacement pump the other day to air up my truck tires for towing. It managed increase the pressure from 35 to just over 40psi in under the minutes and then stopped going up. 30 minutes of trying different things, plugging it into a different socket, trying a plug in 12v socket converter that runs off 120v power, letting it sit in case it was hot, but it wouldn't budge the pressure above 40.I was willing to write it off as a fluke the first time, but either their quality control has gotten so bad that your odds of 2 defective units are high enough I got 2/2 or these things have just become cheap junk. I'll just wire a new plug onto the old one, at least it's reliable.

Easy to use. Quality product. Happy with purchase
Very happy with product. Received Slime tire inflator yesterday and today my tire pressure alert on my 2017 Mazda Miata RF came on my dash. The cold weather condition causes alerts to come on my cars this time of the year. I checked the tire pressure psi requirement on the door jamb of the car. I used the Slime to top off the tires of to that psi setting. I restarted the car and the dash display alert went away. I have never liked using or paying for air at the gas station so this is much better and you don't feel rushed like you do there also. We already own a battery operated inflator we keep in the car but its guage is not very accurate. I wanted a wall outlet plug-in 120v unit to service our 5 cars and the guage on this Slime unit is very accurate. I looked at many tire inflators and read many reviews before buying this one. The operation is very easy. I just hook it up to a three prong outdoor extension cord and work around the car. I turn off the unit between each tire. The instruction pamphlet states to not run it continuously more than 10 minutes at a time. (With a 25 minute break between 10 minute runs). I installed the holder bracket on my garage wall where its tidy, out of the way, and where I can find it when I need it. I didn't have a stud where I wanted to locate it so I just used 2 wall anchors I already had that worked with the 2 enclosed screws. I used a drill, pencil and level to install. The machine is very solid feeling and the handle is great for ease of picking it up and moving it around. It was pleasantly much quieter than I expected. Later, I topped off my Highlander and '02 miata. No problems. Very accurate guage. Highly recommend. I will update if any concerns arise.
