These Susan Bates hooks are my go to inline crochet hooks. I wished they had more colors. I love the in line hooks because they’re so easy to use and less prone to having the yarn slip off the hooks as with the rounded hooks.The padded handles are a plus as I enjoy the feeling of having a little bulk to the grip as I crochet fast. I’m sure there’s an ergonomic benefit from that as well. I am never disappointed by the quality of the hooks and for the number of hooks in the pack, I believe it is a good value.The pack comes with three of the most commonly used sizes of crochet hooks (at least for me) and the handles have a rubberized grip that keeps them from slipping out of your fingers. I would even recommend these styles of hooks for beginners as they catch the yarn moreso than the other styles of crochet hooks.

Love the ergonomic features of this hook. Feels great while crocheting larger projects.

Susan Bates crochet hooks are the only ones I will use. I'm trying to match a gauge for a new project, and after trying my H, I, and J hooks, it was still a bit small. Of course, out of all the sets of hooks I've accumulated, all my K hooks have wandered off somewhere, or else The Borrowers have taken them. (Aging myself a bit here) I can't find these flat hooks locally, so was thrilled to find them here. The ergonomic handles don't help much, as I have small hands, and the cushion is too far down the handle for me. The heads, although the 'same size', seem to me a smidge larger. Perhaps the design? The sample I crocheted with the J hook in this set is the correct gauge for my project. Go figure. I love the hooks, though, and definitely recommend them.

I've been crocheting for many years and have tried all different types of hooks. I found Susan Bates hooks work the best for me. I love the comfortablecushioned handles and the style of the hook is clean and slides through yarn easily. The price is perfect because Im building my set to include additional sizes now!

I have to be honest, I don’t get anything extra from these hooks than I did a cheaper full set of ergonomic ones other than the hook holds the yarn better when doing certain stitches. I think that it’s because I used the other ones for so long that they are just more comfortable for me. Perhaps if I made myself use these all the time they would start to give me that I can’t live without this hook feeling.

I have severe arthritis in both hands and these seem to be just the right amount of handle and texture of handle that lets me enjoy crocheting again.

I was looking for another bamboo handle susan bates hook but looks like this is the replacement style. Overall it is nice but back to the issue of my hand cramping . Please make the silicone thicker or bring back bamboo!!!!
