Post Office Postal Guide/Template for Pricing in Proportion - RED

I use this to take away the guestimate of whether my postal items are either a UK small or large letter before going to the post office. Its sturdy enough for the job, and so far is accurate. I store it flat in a draw, it takes up no room at all and is very useful. The measurements of both sizes are also etched on the gaps.

So pleased to have bought this. I am selling some smaller items on Ebay and Etsy and this size guide makes it so much easier to package items more cost-efficiently as a large letter without worrying about getting to the post office and it not fitting through the guide. This takes the guesswork out of it and will save me money in the long run. Sturdy design and looks just like the one at the post office itself.

It might be cheap and it might just be a piece of plastic but its usefulness cannot be underestimated. I send a lot of items out through a well known selling site. To keep my postage costs down I need to know whether or not an item can fit in a large letter format or whether it has to go as a small parcel. This is great as it allows you to "post" the items through the slot in order to determine what rate of postage needs to be applied.A real bargain at the price, especially seeing some retailers are charging £14 or so for what appears to be the same product.

Had a number of deluxe Xmas cards to post in 2019, some of which were thicker than normal due to them having felt trim pieces.I took the ones that failed the gap test up to the post office. The ones that were 'close' to 5mm passed the Royal Mail template. Hence, this unit is conservative in its measurement. Probably safer for the sender and receiver.

I bought this product on a bit of a whim. I live too far from a Post Office to be able to visit every time I need to send anything and it seems like lately I have had to do an awful lot of sending!This very simple reproduction of the Post Office's own template is extremely accurate and seems rigid enough to consistently check items without bowing or snapping. It is also flat and easy to store, I'm not sure if it is a general design feature or just happy coincidence but mines also had a little hole in the corner. That means I can attach it with string or similar to hang it somewhere convenient if I have another batch of post to check. Obviously it can't weigh your items so you'll still need to check the weight if you want to avoid under paying on the stamps but it has already proven a very useful addition to my crafting corner.

Got this to measure our large letter and so far it has been great. Its got a good thickness to it so it does not brand when putting parcels through and seems very accurate. The plastic feels nice a strong and it arrived very quickly in good protective packaging.

I found this invaluable as I make my own cards. I had been after one for ages and was so pleased to find this. It meant I could see if the card I made was too thick for normal postage and would need a large letter stamp. If you put wrong postage on the recipient gets charged and you really don't want that. Also has size guide which is great if you make your own envelopes and are not sure if again it is a normal stamp or large letter size
