I had an electrician install this in a few minutes. It appeared fairly simple to do, for him that is. This 3 USB port outlet is quite durable, and truly and speedily charges my phone and other compatible devices. It adds to convenience in my house, and seems to be safe. No noises or issues thus far. The USB cable doesn't charge my phone but it will charge my wife so I'm not sure what's going on I use my wife's charging cord and it still don't work on my phone but it does hers

I wanted this to replace the failing Nest power supply for Nest Cam. The cameras are easily powered by a USB charger. This fails to provide enough power to turn them on. Sending back for a refund.

My wife and I have enjoyed using this nice-looking AC/USB outlet. It's very well made—and if you've installed any other outlets or switches, you'll find this one just as easy to install.If you charge a lot from USB (and who doesn't these days?), it's great not having to fuss with AC adapters anymore. You can even leave a cable connected to the outlet, ready to go, and not worry about wasting energy. (AC adapter "blocks" keep drawing power even when they're not used—for details, try searching "ac adapter power waste".)The two USB-A ports let us charge both of our phones without squabbling. (Just kidding, of course—my lovely wife would never dream of squabbling with me, would she? 😉 ) We don't use the USB-C connector yet, but it seemed like a good idea, as that's the direction things seem to be going, charge-wise.The outlet has a cute little blue LED, too, to let you know it's working properly.And such a reasonable price!
