Rust-Oleum 369384 Advanced Dry Door & Trim Paint, Quart, Satin White

Rust Oleum are my favorite paints for upgrades or touch ups in our home. It’s a really high quality product, goes in smooth, covers up well and dries rather quickly.

Some of the best paint I've ever used. I use this on all the interior doors in my house. It wasn't the plan for it originally. I also used this on my exterior front door as well. All of the doors turned out great, they tried super fast and smooth. I would definitely use this again. My interior doors are over 100 years old and we're stained. I only wipe them down very well with soap and water to prep them. Paint is holding up well on all the doors.

This paint has an unusual almost silicone like silkiness. Applied it to clean, relatively new grey steel door using good quality nylon brush and 4” foam roller. Ready to re-coat in only an hour. Took 2 coats to cover the grey finish. Don’t get discouraged by the appearance while the paint is still wet - once it dries it has a nice even satin finish. Good value for the price because a little goes a long way.

This did the job and dries extremely fast! I was hesitant after the 1st coat but the 2nd one looked great!

I've only ever painted anything in a house one other time besides this time. The rental I'm in, the previous tenants painted the cabinets this annoying green color. It was an eye sore and horribly done. I figured let me get a small can of black, nothing crazy. I'm no expert but I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews.All together - each section I painted took 2 to 3 coats. The first coat looks like a stain/tint, the second coat makes it look like a darker stain, but the third makes it look solid. There were some areas that hadn't been painted so the wood itself took one coat with no issues. And there's barely any paint used so I may just paint the top cabinets as well.All in all - great choice. I'm finishing up the last 3 doors so when I'm done I'll try to add photos of before and after.

When opening the can, the paint looked magenta. I did a test spot on my red door & it made me very nervous (HOA community). After a bit of time, I decided worst case, I can repaint. After drying, it’s beautiful! It does have a little more pink than I would’ve expected but it looks nice.The can was very dented & it was hard to open. However the paint still painted so whatever.
