Was looking for something that was paper thin, wouldn’t scratch the screen, would allow the cover to close on my iPad and laptop and that could easily be removed without leaving a residue. This for the bill. You can see how thin it is in the photo. Neither my iPad nor my MacBook use face recognition so I pretty much leave it on all the time. I didn’t put it on my iPhone 12 because I do use face recognition there and I was concerned that it might come off from sliding it into my purse or pocket.It doesn’t have adhesive but it’s made from a special material that feels like a very fine knit fabric and it somehow “sticks” to the screen surface almost with a suction like mechanism. But it’s easy to remove. And as instructions say, if it stops sticking simply rinse it off and that renews the technology.I chose the camp design because I wanted something I could see to remind me it’s there if I was going to do FaceTime or a Zoom call. But they have several designs and solid colors.

These are so cute!! Great gift idea. Last a very long time. When the start to lose their stick, just dampen and they are like new.

These seem to work best on complete flat and continuous surfaces. The camera on my laptop is a tad recessed into a slightly curved surface. When the covers are placed directly over the camera, they fall off in a couple minutes. Placing them down so that only the top part covers the camera seems to work best. Also, the covers don't stay on a vertical surface that has a texture rather than being a perfectly smooth, shiny surface.They do work fine on my iPad.

Working well

I liked this, quite a bit actually, but the strip on my phone didn't last more than a week. It feel off either in my pocket or purse, and I didn't realize that until too late. It does cover the camera lens, is soft, and I wish it had stuck better.EDIT: I find this useless for my phone. Another one is lost. It's great for my laptop, but that's it. I really wanted to be able to cover my phone though, and this doesn't do that for more than an hour to day. These are too expensive to have them fall off.

I am giving the product 3 stars.I loved the size of the thinner long pieces. They were perfect to cover my laptop's camera.However, the surface of the laptop's screen bezel is textured. These simply will not hold. I tested them on a smooth surface of the computer and they gripped just fine. You can't use these on textured surfaces.

I love the soft touch and easy placement. I went to use my camera and forgot where I put it only to find that I left it right next to the lens and it came off with ease. I used it again and tested the adhesive to see if it left any residue or lost it’s sticker like backing and it’s holding on like a champ. Will update if it comes off in the next few months. I am using this product in my iPad mini front and back camera as well as my iPhone XR (old I know) but it still works and it fit so well. Just have to center the long camera blocker so it doesn’t cover up facial recognition option on phone otherwise it covers the front facing camera 👌Update:This is not reliable on front facing hand held phone cameras. But it does work well on the rear facing lenses. It adheres better with heat from finger to prevent it from falling off when taking it off and on multiple times.

If they would stay affixed, these would be wonderful. Tip for that is at the end of this review.For me, they did not hold well even after cleaning the area with alcohol and making certain it was dry before applying.These leave no residue, don't wrinkle up like the thin stickers, and have vibrant colors for folks who want a little artsy bling.I prefer black, but those were sold out. Upside, these colors made my devices easier to see in my bag. Either option would be the thick foam, nice size, easy to use, and fit for my uses of the they'd stay affixed.They block the camera lens quite well until they fall off. Value for the money, if they fall off, is zilch. If yours stay, then that's a plus!Half of these were used and all fell off the devices within the first few days of use. They're pretty pointless, if being used on portable devices and then fall off and get lost from faulty function like mine did.These may be better used for situations where you won't move the items, like a desktop camera or even to cover lights on electronics that bother you when sleeping.If you use a device case that covers the screen where these sit on your camera lens, that may also prevent them from falling off.
