I chose this crochet kit because it was cute but also because it is cheaper than a lot of other kits. I learned very basic crochet when I was young but I forgot pretty much everything. This kit certainly is not easy and requires a lot of patience, but, between the instruction booklet and video tutorials I was able to piece everything together decently. It can be a bit repetitive so you get better with each try. Everything you need is right in the box. My first crotchet plant is pretty janky, but it was enjoyable to make! The yarn is not very easy to work with but for the price, not unexpected. Overall, very happy with the purchase

I haven’t made these yet but I have done other by this brand. Great directions and fun to create. You can also use thicker yarn and hook to make them bigger. Pattern reads well.

This is a cute kit and does provide you everything you'll need. However, the yarn splits so easily and it makes it hard when trying to insert the yarn into the eye of the needle when you need to weave and it also splits or separates while trying to work the stitches. I don't know if I'd recommend this kit to a beginner just for the yarn splitting. The scissors are interesting. I have to angle them just right for them to even cut.

I was almost a complete beginner to crochet when I got this kit. It's been a really fun way to learn. The kit includes almost everything needed to finish the project. The only thing not included is the blusher to add color to the cheeks and leaves. I ended up using a powdery lipstick, which worked well. The instructions are pretty good, but not written by a native English speaker, so occasionally rough to follow. I had to watch some YouTube videos to figure out some steps. Overall it's a pretty good kit and decent price for what you get.

Purchased for my mom’s 63rd birthday. Clear easy directions for a beginner. Several size options. She has enjoyed teaching my 5 year olds how to crochet. High quality yarn and needles. Overall excellent gift package.

I got this after seeing those ads for woobles beginner kits everywhere but thought the woobles were a bit pricey so thought this kit was a steal. I realize now I should have just gotten the woobles kit. The yarn in this kit splits so easily it took me forever to figure out how to hook it for even the basic stitch without it all unraveling and pulling apart, rendering it useless. I watched the videos a million times but could not figure out the magic loop stitch which is definitely not beginner friendly (in the woobles kit they have it prestarted for you and use special yarn that can't be split). I was starting to become convinced I must be a lot dumber than I thought until a friend who knows how to crochet confirmed these are more advanced patterns. If you know how to crochet this kit has some nice supplies for a good price and the end result looks like it would be cute but would not recommend for somebody who has never crocheted before.UPDATE : went to Michaels and bought some better quality yarn that is slightly thicker. Also looked up some different YouTube videos that were easier to follow than those included in the kit. SO much easier and I've figured out how to do several stitches. I think I'll be able to come back to doing this kit later after getting more basics down with the easier yarn.

Love these kits. Comes with everything you need and super easy for beginnersI just learned how to crochet a few weeks ago. With a little help, I was able to easily read the pattern, follow the instructions and make the plants.Super fun and adorable.

This kit is super cute. The yarn is pretty good quality and the instructions are helpful. I also like all of the supplies it came with. I would say it’s more of an intermediate kit… definitely not a good first kit for a beginner. Also, the scissors hardly work. Other than that, I have really enjoyed it!

This crochet kit is kind of a mixed bag. On the one hand, if you stick with it and figure everything out, you end up with something super cute. But getting there? It's a bit of a hassle, to be honest.First off, there are no written instructions included, which is a bummer. And the videos they provide? Not all that helpful. So if you're hoping to dive right in and get started without any confusion, you might be in for a surprise. It feels like you're better off just buying some yarn and hitting up YouTube for tutorials that actually make sense.Also, it doesn't come with all the materials you need. That means you'll have to scout around for the missing bits and pieces, which is a bit of an annoyance, especially when you thought you were getting everything in one go.So yeah, while the end product is adorable, the journey there is kind of a headache. Might be easier to just do your own thing with some yarn and internet guidance.

The little plants are so cute and come out looking exactly like the photo if you can follow the instructions. The video instructions are pretty helpful - beginners might have to watch at a slower pace because they go pretty fast, but if you are intermediate then it’s a pretty easy and fast project to go through! The yarn splits easily so I would be mindful of that.

New to crochet, kind of frustrating. The videos weren’t very helpful (for beginners anyway). The yarn splits easy too. Maybe a step up from beginner.. or maybe I need a crochet kit for kids lol

I am a beginner at crocheting and thought this would be a wonderful project. The quality of the yarn is not great as they were splitting and I’ve got only no stitch marker left coz they snap so easy and break. If only I could return them I would. Save your money and find a better brand.
