Before getting this product, I read some reviews stating that the product was difficult to transfer to the fridge without a tray underneath; that it was prone to freezer burn because the lid did not seal perfectly; and that the molds would swell, and that this would make removal more difficult. (This review specifically noted that they would have to run their popsicle mold under warm water to remove, and that this made it impossible to use the popsicle mold for storage.)I am here to tell you these people are whiny babies.1. With most silicone molds, a tray is required underneath to prevent spillage, but because this mold has handles and sufficient structure, I've had no difficulty wothout a tray. You do not actually need one as long as the popsicles are placed on a flat surface once inside the freezer.2. Guess what? You do not need to use this mold as popsicle storage like you would with a traditional plastic one. Because the popsicle sticks are disposable, you can either wrap the popsicles up individually (using the complementary wrapping materials) for storage, or you can do what I do, and just throw them all in a ziploc bag. No biggie.3. Yes, the mold will swell if you make a water-based popsicle, that's just what water does. However, I always just remove all my popsicles at once to store them in a bag, anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me if I need to run all the popsicles under cold water.To finish up, the mold works beautifully, and though the lid isn't a 100% seal, it works well for the time it takes the popsicles to freeze. I would just note that you should measure the stick depth before you put the lid on, I accidentally pushed mine in too deep the first time around.Overall, I would purchase again!

I’ve had plastic popsicle mold holders with a straw that have continually broken and for the price point that they’re sold for it’s a much better deal to buy these silicone holders. Has two size popsicle stick openings and catches all melting juice. Wish the straw was on the short side of the holder instead of the long side, as faces get covered in popsicle trying to drink the juice but does it job!

We use this all the time. It makes a large sized treat. Easy clean up.

Forms the Popsicles well, however, the silicone top doesn't really stay on. It just sits on top really.

I love that its Silicone made yet firm enough to stand on its own without a tray underneath. It has a line to show you where to fill up and be mindful the lid sits in place but not securely sealed as I had hoped. As a bonus comes with 50 wooden pop sticks, bags and a brush for easy cleaning. To make my iceblocks I just make a smoothie and pour it into the moulds, store in freezer on a flat surface and wait overnight. To get the iceboxes out of the moulds, I let it sit in the sink with a little bit of warm water for 10 - 20 seconds and gently squeezed the bottom to release. Much healthier than buying from the shops.
