Easy to put together. Looks great. Extra parts. Great function. Good value

This is the second version of this shelf I have purchased (previously bought the 2-tier for a fish tank) and am planning on buying a third (5-tier corner shelf for plants). It's a great darker "greige" colored wood look and the metal is a nice powder-coated black. It looks great and I feel like it is a good value for the money. It does not feel cheap like so many other "assembly required" pieces of furniture. Easy to assemble, all of the holes line up, and I love that the wall mount holes are built right into the metal frame so you do not need a tacky safety strap. VERY solid. 10/10 recommend.

It serves me well, as long as I use bookends. An industrial look, but not too industrial.

So, I've been buying things from Amazon for years (like most of us). However, I have noticed a pretty steep decline in the quality of many of their products in the last several years. As such, I was pretty hesitant to buy this shelving unit, but gave in because I was desperate and needed a bookshelf ASAP. Well, it's a quality product, easy to assemble, good value, and holds all my books with no problems. I would buy it again.

When the shelf arrived, I immediately started assembling it but ran into the issue of only being able to get 3 of the leveling feet to screw in properly. The 4th hole on the bottom of the metal shelf frames seemed to be warped or at an angle and it took me a long time to get it to thread, but it would still only turn one time before completely stopping and wasn't going in straight. The assembly instructions say to e-mail the manufacturer and they will respond within 24 hours, so I e-mailed them and heard back quite quickly with them offering to send a new part if I was willing to give my full mailing address and phone number (they are located in China). It only took a few days to receive the part, which worked just fine. I am extremely pleased with the shelf. It looks really nice and was easy to put together once I had all the working pieces. The manufacturer was constantly in contact via e-mail the entire time, letting me know when they would be shipping the part and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and happy, offering other compensation for my trouble as well; but all I wanted was a working part. I would definitely purchase items made by them again.
