I had high hopes for this bucket of sharpeners. As a teacher I go through quite a few in a given school year. These have two issues: 1. The cap that holds the shavings comes off very easily and quite frankly doesn’t hold enough shavings to make it worth while. 2. As you can see in the photo, these are not well made and split far too easily. Several have spilt in this manner.

We fill boxes for Operation Christmas Child every year. This year our women's ministry is shooting for 200. Sharpeners are one of our staples. I was thrilled to find these. Not only a sharpener but a little "catch thing" to catch the shavings. All for an extremely reasonable price. This helps to fill the boxes and keep the cost low.

Sharpeners are flimsy and cheaply made. Bought to include in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Since I bought them, I will send them; however, I will also include a better pencil sharpener. Will not purchase these again.

I really like these guys. I've seen complaints that you can only sharpen a couple pencils with them, but that's fine by me. I bought them mainly to stop kids from sharpening colored pencils in my big pencil sharpener as this jams it, but now I use them for everything. I use them to stop kids from getting up when they want to sharpen a regular pencil, and I have them in a travel bag for kids who need to leave the room who have a behavior.They're handy little tools.

I love the amount of sharpeners that come in the batch. They are super vibrant and great for the classroom! The kids love using them and it’s just small enough for their hands. It probably holds the shavings of two to three pencils, but for kids it’s perfect!

Got these to give away to elementary students. All have worked fine, but as you'd imagine, the kids that hold the shavings do not stay on. Not a big deal, not even a deal breaker. I kind of expected that, even expected a few duds, which there were not any.

Outstanding, inexpensive sharpeners that will consistently sharpen pencils to a sharp point. Reviewers who commented on the poor quality or cracking sharpeners likely missed the rather obvious side grips that totally alleviate this issue. This is my second order of these! Great for students.

I bought this for the Samaritan's Purse Christmas Child Shoebox project. I know. I have a ton of these now, but I'm prepared to give these away for quite a while. Pretty nice for being bulk sharpeners.
