Moms, don't read without a tissue in hand.
I bought this book for my son, but I didn't realize how much I needed this read for myself. I've read the story probably a dozen times now, and I've yet to read it without shedding a tear at the end. Laura Wifler does a FANTASTIC job painting a thoughtful and imaginative story while also pointing to a greater purpose. Great for kids. Lovely for moms.

Another wonderful book!
Another sweet and beautifully illustrated book by Laura Wifler. This story is one that is so beautiful. It shows Cora, with big, big dreams! Dreams of accomplishing world wonders, and she does! But she learns that while the world may see success and wonder in things built... Our world wonders are actually those relationships rooted in kindness, love, and hope together. You can't experience world wonders alone. This book will be a great story to share with kids of all ages, as an illustration that often our greatest gifts are time spent with others.

Incredibly sweet and inspiring
Cora is a little girl that you will love to love! And watching her dream big and then realize that it is the simple things and the people in your life that make your dreams come true is just the message we all need right now. Both adults and children in our home love this story, as well as the beautiful illustrations to bring it to life!

An important message for kids and adults!
A World Wonder is a beautiful picture books for kids about a girl with big dreams of accomplishing big things. Ultimately, she learns that serving her neighbors and building meaningful relationships is the world wonder she was after all along. As a child with big dreams who has grown up to live an ordinary, but beautiful life this book brought me to tears. I also really appreciated seeing a main character that could be a single woman living a meaningful life, we don’t often see that kind of representation in children’s books. Five stars! You need this for your child’s bookshelf! If you love this, be sure to check out Laura Wifler’s backlist full of books for kids and adults.

Beautiful book and story!
All 4 of my kiddos (age 7 and younger) liked this book! As all the reviews say, it’s beautiful illustrated and the writing is well done too! My oldest children grasped the concept easily, but it took a little conversation for my 4yo to “get it,” and that was such a nice opportunity to apply the meaning of the story to our own family life.

Most delightful picture book!
As a homeschooling mama, books are a huge part of everyday life. I absolutely adore this picture book, which is hard to find in a brand new book nowadays. The imagery and text are just delightful and pull you in. I’ve already gifted a copy to a friend and plan to do so a lot more. I finished reading it for the first time and promptly texted a group of friends that it was a must have in their home library! Laura is extremely gifted in the art of producing quality picture books. I can’t wait for more from her.

Gorgeous Art, Sweet Story
A sweet story of an ambitious little girl who grows up to achieve amazing things, but eventually realizes that the community of people around her are the real treasure. You'll get lost in the beautiful illustrations! Each time we've read it, I've noticed new details. My little girls love going back and looking at each of Cora's unique magical-looking buildings; I'm sure it's like the drawings came right out of their boundless imaginations! A great addition to any bookshelf!

Beautiful story and illustrations!
I love all of Laura Wifler’s creative work, so I knew I wanted to have this beautiful book on my shelf too. A World Wonder masterfully shares the message I want all of my grandchildren to hear. While using our skills, we should all the while remember that people and community are more important than accomplishments. So thankful for this brilliantly written and illustrated book!

An inspiring story for all!
A World Wonder is an inspiring story with exquisite illustrations. Laura uses this beautiful story to teach an important lesson - "in a world of limitless possibility, it’s the bonds we form and the people we love that bring real meaning and satisfaction in life". We try to cultivate this in our homes by reminding our kids and modelling to them that no matter what talents and successes we have, loving God and others always more important and valuable! Our kids were captivated by the story and pictures, and it's my prayer that they will grow up loving and serving God and the community! I'm so thankful to have this new treasure added to our home library.
