Esteem Apparel Original Men's Chest Compression Shirt to Hide Gynecomastia Moobs

My son has gynecomastia. He has been harassed by kids, and at a times mocked by adults for the past couple of years. I bought this thinking maybe it might help. My son put this on this morning and the smile he had was worth more than I can express. It is the first time in 2 years he has gone outside without an over shirt. This is the best thing I have bought on Amazon, hands down. Im going to buy him one for every day of the week.

For anyone who's FTM, this shirt felt like wearing a long sports bra. It didn't bind that much but still flattens your chest a bit. I would invest in a more compressing shirt if you're searching to flatten your chest completely. BUT, on the flip side, if you want a binder that doesn't hurt after several hours, this has the right amount of compression for that.

So I've tried Spanx and it worked for years for me but I didn't realize until now that I was not wearing it properly. After getting this Esteem Apparel compression shirt and reading the instructions, I see now that I should have been stepping into my previous compression shirt rather than pulling it over my head like a typical t-shirt. If you want to see results with this shirt, you MUST step into it and pull/stretch it up just far enough so that you can slip your arms into it. The key is that you want the shirt to be stretched down to your thighs. This creates optimal compression to your belly and pecs. I'm 5'5" and weigh 210lbs. I should really weigh closer to 150. I've been so self conscious about wearing t-shirts during the summer time as well as tank tops. I dread it. I find any way to layer clothing which sucks because I have to deal with being extra hot and stuffy. This compression shirt works much better than my Spanx compression shirt ever did and that thing was far more expensive than this one. I noticed that it hides much better underneath shirts than other compression shirts I've worn as well, it's hard to tell you've got it on. The only thing I really think could be improved or altered is the shoulder area, it's a bit wide and I wish it were slimmer because sometimes the shoulder tank top part of the shirt bunches up just a little bit but honestly it's not a huge deal. The material the shirt is made from allows my shirts that I wear over it to effortlessly move around. Previous compression shirts I've worn didn't allow that, they'd make my out shirt stick to it if that makes any sense. While this shirt doesn't make me appear skinny, obviously, it does an amazing job at reducing my pec fat and even my belly meats lol....and with minimal sucking-in on my part. I can actually walk around without having to hold my stomach in myself which over time hurts my lower back. I used to wear size Medium in shirts when I was at a healthy weight but being overweight now, I wear Large. For this compression shirt, I bought a Large and it fits just fine. It isn't too big or too small at all for me and it isn't too long either which is an issue I run into sometimes when buying Large sized shirts. It seems durable too as I've played arcade dance games with this thing on and sweated up a storm. Just make sure after washing it that you hang it out to dry, don't put it in the dryer as the heat will damage the mesh apparently. As long as you keep that in mind, this shirt should hold up fairly well! Esteem Apparel is a fitting name because this shirt has definitely boosted my self esteem to walk around in public without feeling so insecure. It's a shame I have to wear this to begin with but I'm trying to work on my diet and exercise more. But in the meantime, this shirt helps out with hiding my extra meats a bit lol. One last thing to mention is that this shirt actually does fit underneath my tank tops which is amazing, I wasn't expecting that. It hides fairly well under a tanktop especially if it's of a darker color. If I can edit this review later, I may add before/after photos when I get the time!

I have gynecomastia and I love this undershirt. I think it does a pretty good job flattening my breasts. The first few days, I was self-conscious about wearing it, thinking maybe you could see the seams through my shirt. I don't think you can, even under bright lights. Well, if you can, I haven't heard any comments about it. I noticed people looking at my chest, but I think it's because my man boobs are normally very noticeable, so they're probably curious how they seem to have disappeared.I'm including some before and after shots with this review. I didn't bother writing which one is which, I hope you find it as obvious as I do.

I wish I had this shirt 45 years ago!! No matter how much weight I lose or exercise, my man boobs have made me horribly self conscious all of my life, probably even contributed to my issues with self esteem and depression. Anyway, this shirt makes me feel "normal"!! No longer have to wear multiple layers of shirts, leave my jacket on, hold a notebook in front of me, dread warm weather, etc. etc. Do read the directions on how to put it on!!! I did not at first, and had a hard time. Once I read the directions, it was so much easier. Also, remember hand wash only. Thank you for this item, it has changed my life, for the better.

It took me a lot of going back and forth to order a compression undershirt because I'm 6'3" 330 pounds and I didn't want to order and it didn't work for me. I took a chance and ordered a XL and when it arrived it fit but it wasn't giving me the results I expected. Fast forward a day or 2 and I get an email from AJ Marketplace asking me was I happy and how is the fit. I told them it was a little loose and I should have ordered a large instead and with no questions asked they shipped me a large and it fits perfectly. My stomach, chest, and love handles are all much flatter and I definitely see a difference when I have it on under my shirts. I give them 5 stars because they understand that this is a problem for a lot of men and they make sure you are 100% satisfied. Thank you to James for going above and beyond..

Don't get me wrong, this shirt makes a HUGE difference in the way I look at myself in the mirror and not sigh and walk away. I'm 30, 5'8 and 254lbs and I have broad shoulders and back, but my man boobs have been a thing for a long time...and this shirt has made me not worry about them for the first time since...middle school? BUT!! I have worn mine probably 7? 8? times (XL BTW) and the stitching on the front has started to come undone in two places and under the arm on the right side is starting to crinkle up like bacon, so the support in that side is not as tight as the left, and it's disappointing because it's such a great thing...just maybe not that well made?

I purchased an XL size and I'm 6'0" tall/ 225 pounds. Fits me perfectly. All of us who're looking to buy this product have a little extra bump in the chest area that we wish we didn't.Whether that's a medical problem or just a little extra fat, I gotta say that this shirt will be an honest to god esteem booster.The fit is obviously tight as expected. Don't be fooled into thinking that this will magically make you look thin or anything of the sort. All it does is make your bigger size suit you better by straightening out curves you don't want.The quality of the material is top notch and feels solid enough to last a long time.The customer service department reached out to me afterwards to offer any help I may need with the product. Everything about this, from the product to the company has been a wonderful experience for me.Add in the return policy of Amazon and you have no reason not to try this product.Happy shopping.

Fellas, women have Spanx, we have this. Don't be ashamed like I was. You'll feel so much more confident. I told my girlfriend what I ordered and her response was "you bought a manzier?" and laughed a little. At that moment I felt really ashamed, I realized how absolutely terrible we've had it when it comes to self confidence and having to suck it up. I know my girlfriend loves me and she didn't mean it to be cynical but that's literally EXACTLY how men have been treated that have body issues. I'm not overweight, I'm 5'8, 204lbs, stocky but muscular, I go to the gym doing Olympic weight lifting 5 days a week and play hockey 3 days a week but I've struggled with these embarrassing puffy nipples since I was a kid. I'd found a way that I would discretely scratch my chest to make them hard to be less apparent, I went went on a date with a girl in highschool and I taped the fckn things down with tape. This is some embarrassing stuff I'm confessing right now but I think it's really important. There is surgery however I've never been "approved" by the surgeon because it's cosmetic. I'm 32 now, been self conscious my entire life about them, summers are the worst because t-shirts are thin and it's when these nips are extra puffy. It bothered me so much my posture actually suffered because I would hunch over to try and hide them while also wearing a size bigger shirt than I needed. Anyway, I'm sure there are other guys out there like me who have suffered the same issue. I finally got the courage up and bought this shirt secretly. I put it on as soon as it came in, the fit is tight, just like I was hoping, it smoothed out my chest and I instantly felt more confident but it doesn't look unnatural! If your nips get hard, you can still see them. The best thing is I noticed it also helped my posture! I didn't tell my girlfriend I had gotten it, I wore it under my thinnest tshirt and she didn't even know it was there. At about $40 it's enough money to be hesitant about but I'm going to be buying a few more on my next pay. I think it's time us fella's stopped worrying about this stuff and just be happy in our own skin, whatever it takes. Another thing, the material is great, it doesn't cause the shirt to cling to you either. I really cant say enough good things. Keep in mind you'll be uncomfortable for the first few days. I'm on day two and it's not so bad, the tightness is overturned by the feeling of my self confidence that I got back.

Once I received my compression shirt I didn't know what to expect. I've lived with low self esteem my whole life (34 years). I always wore a jacket in the summer because of my insecurities, therefore I always hated summers and never enjoyed them. Last week was the first time in 15 years that I wore just a t-shirt and I wasn't self conscious. This is a fantastic product and really allows men like myself (insecure, self cautious) to go out in public with less clothing but more confidence. The shirt can be worn all day and it remains comfortable. Does not restrict your breathing or blood flow . The shirt is VERY WELL put together. Feels nice on the skin, breathes and is very well made. Very strong material. If you're feeling insecure and avoid certain clothes because of the way they make you look don't waste another day. Buy a couple of shirts and get your confidence back. The only thing I would recommend to the makers is: Make shirts that have more size options an XL size would be a great addition to your line and would definitely sell very well.

I bought this for my boyfriend who is 6'2'' and 230 pounds, he has a belly he wants to hide and small moobs as well. This shirt works well in compressing the man boobs, but you won't look as if you had lost 20 pounds around the belly. The man boobs are tighter/flatter and the belly is a bit compressed, but overall great product as it helps my boyfriend to have more confidence and he now can wear a t-shirt in front of people, while he used to wear a vest on top of it everyday of the year, even in summer when the temperature was over 40 degrees Celsius due to his low confidence. Great product, I recommend it ! I took a large as it is the only size that was available on amazon and it fits him, it's tight so it does the job ! I also bought an XL directly on their website and it fits well too, so both sizes could fit if you have the same shape as him.

It's a great product, don't try to cheat when you pick your size it will not fit. I'm 6" 185 pounds and I picked a large. It is long, covers down to half the butt cheeks. I thought even after seeing how to put it on that I would put it on like a T shirt *laughs* just try. This thing is made to support, as support goes at first it feels a little too tight, but you get used to it real fast and it's a great feeling. I was surprised of how heavy it was, I thought it would be lighter, cheaper. I wore it to go to the mall, it was 90 degrees outside and it doesn't feel any warmer having this under a T shirt. As far as if it shows, like I said I wear somewhat tight (not loose) T shirts and if you look close one might think you're wearing one of those white cotton tank top under, with a shirt it doesn't show at all. Pain relief, I don't hurt anywhere but I imagine it would help for minor achesIt does improve your shape, I'm 62 and weight trained all my life and gravity didn't forget me, the little layer of fat on my pecs followed it and I'm too old to work it off now, so it helped there and over the external obliques . Great product, I'd recommend it.
