My son is 6’3” and 180# and still growing. I needed a new bed that is medium firm to support his frame, but still give him the comfort he needs for a good night’s sleep. He’s an athlete, so his body is sore a lot and he needs a nice mattress. I read a million reviews before deciding on this Novella mattress and he said it’s even better than my $3k mattress!We put it on top of a king mattress in the guest room and released the plastic so it could take shape on a flat surface. We left it alone for 4 or 5 days. When we went in to set it up, it was fully inflated to 12” and felt like a normal mattress from a full size box. The edges even seem supportive to me, which is everyone’s concern when they buy a bed in a box.We bought a heavy duty metal platform bed frame and don’t use a box spring. This bed is heavy, so make sure you use a box spring or solid platform frame or it won’t hold up.It’s only been a week, but so far he loves this mattress and says it’s his favorite on the house. That is actually saying a lot, because two of our mattress were several thousand dollars each.I’ll update if anything changes, but so far this is an excellent purchase and I recommend it for medium firm comfort, quality, and price.

This queen-size mattress exceeded my expectations! It's firm yet comfortable, providing great support for my back. The materials feel high quality, and I sleep so much better now. No more waking up with aches or tossing and turning. Highly recommend this for anyone needing a restful night's sleep.

Great price, true to Queen size. Fast delivery. I happened upon this mattress and decided to buy it. It came in a long box, opened it up and right away it expanded into the full 10 inch. No chemical smell at all. Very comfy. The perfect amount of firmness and softness and after sleeping on it the first night, I can honestly tell you that I have not slept that good in a very long time! It’s been well over a week now and it’s still so comfy and I absolutely love it! I do recommend this mattress.

It’s a good mattress it is a heavy package so be ready to have 2 people to move it and its a little on the firm side but still a good mattress with good support

The mattress expanded quickly and was ready to use in no time.What I love most about this mattress is the perfect balance of comfort and support. The media could not be loaded. This bed is more impressive than I could have imagined! I needed to replace my current bed I was sleeping on for probably a few years now as I got it secondhand and it essentially had no support anymore. This mattress from Novilla has been like a night / day difference. Coincidentally, right before I ordered this bed, I was slowly trying to recover from a back injury, thus the need to look for a new, better mattress. It was delivered in tact, EXTREMELY well wrapped and vacuum-sealed. There were like three layers to get through to get to this mattress! Unlike other mattresses, you don't have to open this up in the room you want to set it up in. It does weigh a great deal when compressed, once expanded it is very easy to maneuver. After carefully, CAREFULLY removing the plastic, make sure to stand clear of the ends, anyone helping, too, as this will most likely burst open suddenly. After that, you just need to place the mattress on your frame and add your sheets. Thin as the mattress is, it's firmer than I expected, giving me ample support for my aching back. My dog took to it right away and has even been sleeping longer on the bed with me (usually he jumps on and off frequently). The springs keep me supported from head to toe at any angle I want to rest on the bed. I am sleeping soundly and not ruining my back any further. This came right on time and I'm so very pleased so far!

I’ve always believed the idea that you should spend as much as you can afford on a mattress, since a good night’s sleep is so important. I bought this one thinking it would work until I could afford something “better”. Well, I’m a month in with this mattress and so far, I think my old thinking was way off. This mattress is astonishingly comfortable. The top has a nice cushiony feel to it, and you sink in just enough to feel slightly hugged. The springs underneath give nice support to it all, though, so it doesn’t feel like you’re just sinking down. It’s a fantastic combination of support and squish. I took off one star because it was advertised as “medium firm” which made me think it would have less give to it, but believe me when I say that I’m absolutely glad for that - this mattress is just fantastic.It was delivered rolled up in a cardboard box, and wrapped tightly in plastic, which was easy to remove with scissors. It was satisfying to watch it “decompress” over the next few days, and I didn’t notice any strong or offensive odors from the material. It feels well-made, but time will tell. I’ll try to remember to update this in a year or so, but I genuinely hope this mattress holds up, because I find it to be incredibly comfy and I’m glad to have been proven wrong on my previous mattress logic!
