Well Built Keeps Ice For Days
The media could not be loaded. This Igloo Cooler is very well built and seems like it will hold up to use for a long time. I tested it on a road trip where I stayed overnight at a campground and had it sitting in my van the whole time. I put ice in it on a Monday, camped overnight, came home and left it and drinks in the cooler in the van.The video shows what I find when I go out to the van for a look on the following Friday to see if there was any ice left and well, the video shows that there still was ice! Sure it had some water, but, quite a bit of ice still. The drinks were very cold still. Now, one thing that some may see as a con is that it doesn't have a drain plug, but, for me, it was what I wanted because I have heard stories about the drain plugs leaking water out and since I was going to have this sitting in my van I did not want the risk water leakage in my van. It's not that big of deal to dump it out when you are finished using the cooler. The latches like the ones here on some other brand coolers, I have read were too hard to pull and then some of them broke eventually from having to pull them so hard and stretching them so much. The latches on the Igloo seem to be just right. You don't have to pull really hard, just enough to release it and then put it back to secure it. I also like the little places on the top for tie downs. The handle is very sturdy and solid and easy to grip. Igloo has been making coolers for a long long time, and this is a lot less expensive than some other competitors and I doubt if someone is going to want to steal my Igloo cooler, another reason why I went with this brand. It looks really good too and fits perfectly in my passenger seat in my van. It will sweat a bit of course, so I just put a tarp underneath it and a towel to absorb any moisture. This is really perfect for a one to 3 day outing for sure and I'm glad I decided to go with Igloo!

These coolers have performed flawlessly for over a year at my mobile food stand. Worth every penny.
I have bought many coolers over the first 3 years of my business, and the disgraceful quality of most of them is a shameful waste of money and materials by manufacturers to sell sell sell. THESE COOLERS ARE DIFFERENT. They are not the cheapie coolers I've bought, and they have ended the search for something that not only works great, but HOLD UP TO DAILY USE AND ABUSE BY ME AND THE PUBLIC FOR WELL OVER A YEAR NOW. I admit, I am hard on things. I don't treat things nice. If they're tools, I use the tools. I yank these handles to slide the coolers to within reach in my truck, jerk them up fully loaded (I'm estimating 75 lbs) and the public uses them all day to grab drinks from. In and out, back and forth, sliding, yanking, cooling. They just keep taking it. I don't have to 'be nice' to them like so many products. I bought these 'returned' coolers to save a bit until I could sample their worth, and found they didn't have a single noticeable thing indicating they weren't brand new. They have been outstanding. That said, I know when I reload drinks, the drinks and ice/water cools the incoming drinks overnight, and I add a bit of ice the next day and voila! all day cold drinks with the lids flipping frequently! I do not consider/count on multiple days keeping things cold, but day to day, these know how to chill... So, benefits - low ice consumption for my purpose described, badass hinges that don't break like many others, badass latches that are reliable and 'me-proof', handles that don't even hint at failure. The caps on the drain are attached with a durable leash but if you're like me and shut the tailgate with the cap between the truck bed and tailgate, you can overcome the intentions of the engineer and free them from their bondage. Worth every penny I spent on them.

Fantastic Durability, Keeps Ice for Days – Perfect for Camping
I am extremely impressed with the Igloo BMX 72-Qt Cooler! This cooler is everything I was looking for in a high-quality, durable option for my outdoor adventures. Right out of the box, I could tell it was built to last. The heavy-duty blow-molded construction gives it a rugged, indestructible feel, and it handled every bump and jostle of a camping trip without any issues. One of the standout features is its insulated lid and thick foam walls, which keep ice cold for up to five days! I was amazed at how well it performed during a weekend camping trip, even in high temperatures. By the time we were ready to head home, there was still plenty of ice left to keep our drinks cold for the drive back. If you’re looking for reliable ice retention during long outdoor weekends or trips, this cooler delivers! The rubberized T-latches are another feature that really impressed me. They secure the lid tightly and lock in the cold efficiently. You can trust that this cooler will hold up even when it’s tossed around a bit. Also, the stainless-steel reinforced grab handle and triple-point grab handle with a rubber grip make it incredibly easy to carry, even when fully loaded. It’s easy to load into a vehicle, and the grip helps prevent it from slipping around.I also love the threaded drain plug, which makes draining the cooler incredibly easy. I was able to hook it up to my hose to drain out all the melted water with minimal effort. The thoughtful built-in fish ruler on the lid is a neat little touch for anyone into fishing, and it’s clear that Igloo put a lot of thought into the small details. The non-slip corners and four tie-down points make sure it stays securely in place, which is great when you’re driving on bumpy roads or uneven terrain.I use this cooler for camping and it’s been a game-changer for keeping all my food and drinks cold. The 72-quart size is perfect for group camping trips and holds everything I need, from drinks to snacks and even some fresh food. The cooler doesn’t take up too much space either, making it easy to store in the car or campsite without it being a burden.Overall, the Igloo BMX Cooler is an outstanding product that has exceeded my expectations. It's durable, efficient, and extremely reliable in keeping items cold for days. Whether you’re heading out for a camping trip, a day at the beach, or just need something sturdy for a tailgate party, this cooler gets the job done. I’m confident it’ll last me for many more adventures, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a top-notch cooler.
